The PS3 will not die if Blu-ray loses. It could still use that format for high capacity data storage.
the people i've seen it happen to had wireless routers right near their ps3s.
"Oh to live on, Motorstorm mountain"
...gamers. all the companies and developers are pushing hard now and cranking out cool games for all systems. competition is good.
selling a little under 10MM in a year and 3 months isn't exactly setting the world on fire considering there was NO competition for most of that time frame.

"I've talked to several ps2 gamers I know and 1/2 of them don't know what home is"
so half of the several didn't know what home was? i applaud your very scientific and prodigious statistical sample used to derive your conclusion.
"so much more then this needed to make a good online like demos trailers arcade games game extras themes ect."
who said Sony won't bring this to the table? the system hasn't even been out for 4 months.
360 was built for today, the ps3 was built for tomorrow...
this is a pretty weak spin. home is part of the PS3 but not the focal point. its just another icon on the cross media bar. one day MS fans tout all the content on live as superior, the next day its not so important.
playing your own music for this game would effing rule!!!!!!!!
I picked this up yesterday and while it could have more features the core of the game (graphics, physics) is absolutely AAA.
if they are already getting graphics and physics like motorstorm has the future looks bright....
i own both systems and the only thing i don't like about PSN is the lack of alot of demos. Having movies and TV show to dowload, who the eff cares. That stuff can be found elsewhere for free.
easily the greatest avatar ever...
..and also what their store may have for us.
any objective gamer who is not pushing their own agenda can see that this is an AAA title. if they can get this type of quality from a 1st gen title, can't wait for gen 2.
getting this game no matter what...
when i'm playing Gears, single player and not online, the background downloads pause. unless there is some other other setting i'm not aware of.
yawn
But what is the cost to run the 360 2 hours a day for a year?
