The answer is always "whichever will be most beneficial to them", whether its finances or public relations. If I were to guess, it would be a mixture of both finances and pr , so whichever game can deliver those is considered the "best" choice. I often see people make the mistake of stating that a certain RE game "should" be remade and then proceed to list reasons often forgetting that its a business and the end goal is always to make money. So they(companies) wi...

Why (*some) fans feel a Resident Evil 5 Remake might not be a good idea

757d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Some people think that may be the reason why we didn't get the original voice actor. I loved the original voice but with how they have built everything with these remakes , the simplest choice might be this.

Considering :
1. If they brought the original merchant voice actor back fans would wonder why he also couldn't voice Leon.
2. If they brought the original merchant voice actor the actor may have wanted to negotiate a better deal and if it goes...

*How Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could've avoided Marvel's Avengers Mistakes

In a perfect world it would have both options and players could switch on the fly. I don't and never have played a Final Fantasy but I did try out and play Kingdom Hearts 1-2 and those are some of my most beloved game experiences and I can certainly say that I wouldn't have played it if it was turn based.

However , Final Fantasy is already established so they should keep things how the fans want and not risk losing their fan base when trying to potentially draw in ...

Do PC gamers have to pay a subscription fee like Xbox and PlayStation? I'm sure that would add up as well if that's the case.

I definitely would enjoy a remake as I still consider RE5 as one of top co op games out there. It did so many things right as far as co op mechanics. However , I'm fine with waiting until the fans of the older RE games get their remake first.

First impressions , I think this is just going to make people more picky with games. Others have mentioned that this change might provide breathing room for developers to try out new things , which is probably true but it won’t matter if people aren’t willing to buy them. From the consumer side , you will definitely see less games being bought and people will only buy games that they trust.

I'm not sure what you mean the game is much easier now , all you have to do is camp. I got multiple high kill games during the beta by just holding an angle and waiting for people to come to me. Skill isnt the issue , the game is just boring now , and once the rushers leave it will get even more boring.

On the surface it may seem like red dots wouldnt cater to casuals but that assumes that players behavior will stay the same when in reality it doesnt. When red dots are removed you get less player movement , people camp more and play more defensively. A very easy test for this is to watch how players move when they UAV or even an Advanced UAV up versus how they move without one.

Removing red dots incentivize camping because without them MOST players will be less likely to...

These conversations are always annoying , people act like in order to be deemed curvy or thick ,one HAS to have a belly or be obese if basing it off of appearance.

It shouldnt be that hard to simply agree that there are different versions or varieties of what being thick or curvy entails. If you go to google type in thick or curvy you WILL see plenty of women who are curvy and thick YET still have a slim waist.

This mod is more so on the heavier side an...

The way you communicated your point came off as WW2 was a conspiracy and that people shouldn't stand up to evil , which is why you got the backlash. Just because you doesn't mean it wont happen. Some wars are needed , there are bad people in the world, and will be for a long time. Justified wars are when good people decide to fight back against evil people.

"The Whole entirety of WW2 was a sham to begin with." sham is not a good word to use in this instan...

I think co-op is always welcomed ,its only a negative when its implemented incorrectly or the wrong way which is most of the time.

Yep and while your at it what about making everyone lift weights every day because it good for bone density. Ban all fast food and force everyone to eat only foods that provide the best nutrition. Ban all sex until marriage because it’s the best way to ensure stable families and homes. Get rid of all leisure activities because who needs rest and entertainment when you can work, study and sleep. /s

Yep, I agree some things dont need to be said because it is assumed to already be supported or true. Although its a drastic example , I have never seen a company come out and say they are against Intoxication or Murder because it is assumed that everyone already knows those things are not tolerated on the job or in life. So when companies make a statement about something that everyone already knows and supports , it is most likely because they are trying to virtue signal or they are insulting...

I enjoyed RE5 simply for the co op. I know it takes out the fear because you arent alone, but it was really cool playing online with people. Actual Co op games are such a rare thing that I believe they stick out more when a company decides to make one... look at It takes Two.

they should just not give a release date until its out lol , that may be better at this point. Im kind of joking but also not , with multiple delays It could kill hype and give off a negative impression. It may be better at this point given the multiple delays to just not announce the release date until the day of release .

who cares !!! more than likely the so called "fans" werent going to buy the game anyways while the real fans wouldve enjoyed it because for them everything isnt about politics or agenda's.

It cuts both ways though , if gamers don't deserve a stable functioning game on release then developers don't deserve to get the consumers money. That's the benefit of capitalism , if your services are not up to par then someone else will come in and do a better job and get paid for it. Each time a company releases a unfinished , rushed or bad product they make it easier for consumers to stop purchasing their product and others like it and wait until the product is good. Games us...

There are numerous reasons, I think there are some people who see red flags and the potentiality of a bad game whereas others choose to focus on the good parts. This game is enjoyable for any Marvel fan , but I have played about 20 hours in and it is getting stale. The campaign missions were alright as they had structure to them but there are other missions after the campaign where you are placed in like a free roam area with objectives such as hold this point which seem to be a waste of spac...
