While I don't agree with you that Far Cry 2 is a crappy game, I too wonder why people stress over the smallest things. More textures, further draw-distance, fewer framrate issues, etc. People seem to forget that gaming is about having fun and not about being superior.

I made a choice to sell my 360 after receiving two RRoD despite the handful of great games soon to be released. If I'm willing to throw my hard earned money towards a company that releases faulty hardware I'd only be encouraging the problem in the long run.

I agree, MSS. I can't think of any reason for this game to be made in the first place. There is a huge market for traditional Castlevania games and I feel the more logical choice would have been to make a 2D side-scroller for the Wii.

I never understood why people always got confused about this. I'm sure if you've purchased a game on the day of its release in the past five years you would know that the "release date" is the ship date 90% of the time (save for big titles like Halo and Madden).
