One of the most exciting launches in video game history. If you are after value for money, you have found your game. It is like you are getting three games in one with Campaign, Spec Ops and the fully fledged multiplayer suite!
I was surprised by his report, I mean, it's a legitimate news post. I'm a massive old-school Zelda fan and even though the flick is low-budget, I think they have done a pretty good job!
After checking my sources, it seems you do not play as a terrorist, but an undercover C.I.A Agent, who is in the inner circle and who informs the russian swat about the attack prior to it.
I guess we wont know for sure until the game releases
I agree with you. I think GT5 will be the better racing sim for sure, but I don't think it will be able to touch Forza 3 for features like decal and paint editors.
Anyway, did you actually read our reviews. Halo 3: ODST received an 8.8 from Gamerz Ink, and Forza got a 9.1. Both games deserved the scores they got, and after multiple play throughs on each, we think we have rated them fairly.
That made me laugh. There are so many criminals robbing EB Game and general video game retailers here in OZ lately. Must make them a decent profit.
Sales are also another good way of picking up your games for less. I am quite the bargin hunter, and even if you wait about a month after release, most games drop in price considerably.
We have a electronic retail store in OZ called JB Hi Fi. They are constantly trying to outdo EB Games, so their video game prices are always $20-30 cheaper than the competition.
Sometimes it just pays to wait.
I'm from Australia, and EB Games down here still have the 7-day return policy. My friends use it all the, especially when they are not too sure about a particular title.
Where are you from Nuri? Does Gamestop have a similar return feature?
Renting games is something most people do overlook. The majority of titles take around 8-12 hours to complete, and are perfect for a weekend hire.
Or you can always use EB Games' 7-day return policy to 'rent' a video game..
It looks as though Last FM is for US and UK regions only for the time being. Bummer, I was looking forward to that..
Great guide dude, I'll be sure to pass this on to my Guild Wars mates as they will be sure to love it
Good work!
Nope, try again
That was one of the only cons I could find. If you read the full review dude you will get a better understanding of what that means
Cheers
Touche!
I was not aware of that, the office has yet to return any of my calls so details like that are scarce.
It's our government mate, they think they are doing everyone a favour by cutting out all the gore and blood. You know what they say, ignorance is bliss!
P.S. I feed my pet Wallaby shrimp off the barbie', he loves 'em!
I know what you mean dude. I am Australian and I totally agree. I don't know why such twats rating our content, but it's the inconsistent nature of the classifications board that gets me going.
Left 4 Dead got rated and was sold in OZ, but that has just as much blood and gore as #2? WTF?
What country are you from Ron?
It goes to show how much bullshit is on N4G. The only thing that gets past 500 degrees is a Forza 3 vs GT5 comparison video or some fanboy, console war tat. This is an important subject, and it's everyone outside of the fricken US who is going to get screwed by Infinity Ward's arrogance.
Let's see how much noise we can make on the subject and maybe, just maybe we might be taken seriously..
I'm not too sure why a feature such as a local search function would not be a priority in Modern Warfare 2's development. There is no excuse for not including local search, and Gamerz Ink has contacted Infinity Ward and Activision for an official response.
Stay tuned..
You have a good point there dude, and I do agree with you. After considering your reply, I have to say that I was mainly coming from my own perspective.
I own and love my PS3 along with my small Blu-Ray collection, I guess I have just fully embraced digital-downloads as I love not having shelves full of physical media. I love having my library of movies, music and photos all in one place. I guess I'm a minimalist at heart.
Good reply dude
Nice review, guys. It's nice to see someone appreciate the single player campaign for what it was, a fun, serious & entertaining romp. I respect the direction DICE decided upon with the story and missions, and while brief and direct, it was refreshing to step away from the typical Michael Bay-ish campaigns the Call of Duty franchise tends to adhere to.
I agree with James' view on the 'Going Hunting' mission. I personally had my fully-calibrated home theatr...
