Great game. The diversity of the levels is astounding, and it is fun to play.
MAG is the only Sony first party FPS 'coming soon' afaik, so maybe it is that.
From footage I have seen, I am still on the fence about Halo:ODST.
It just seems so generic, as in if you crossed Shogo : Mobile Armor Division (open world FPS) and Star Wars : Republic Commando (helmet hud and storm trooper team) and gave it a Halo skin it would equal ODST.

Why so down on HOME, I use it regularly to play around and to chat to people. It is becoming better all the time with more and more gamespaces, and I also found XI a lot of fun.
Looks good in that video, probably be the next game I get for my 360.
Actually a lot of places are including 1 or 2 free games with the new PS3, and shopto and gameplay are selling the new PS3 for £230.
Also, with PS3 you get a bluray player, free wifi and free online included, whereas the xbox360 has a DVD player, a wifi addon that costs about £50-60, and subscription service to play online per person, so that if like me you have a son who wants to play online as well, it would cost me nearly £80 a year (which is why I am not paying...
I think that 'The Last Guardian' has great graphics also, the creature just looks amazing with its feathers and fur.
Just thought I would add that to the mix, as it seems to have been overlooked.
Can't believe people don't care about about this, seems to be a lot of double standards. These are supposed to be HD consoles, so I expect HD resolutions or we will get more situations like Ghostbusters.
www.shopto.net and www.gameplay.co.uk are each selling the PS3 slim for £229.99, which I am finding very tempting. Shopto are also selling it at normal price with Fallout 3 and BF:Bad Company free.
These to me are bullshots. From gameplay vids I have seen, it looks good, but just has this cartoony look to it.
I don't think it is easy to program a PS2 emulator for PS3, as they have somewhat different architectures, so would take some time to accomplish.
The Xbox was basically a PC in a box, and the Xbox 360 isn't much different, so Xbox emulation would of been easier.

This is a non-event…I was talking about the PC version, I just left that bit out of my original response by mistake…sigh.
Doesn't seem to have where you have to drive legally like the first game i.e. you can be caught for speeding or jumping traffic lights, as he was just driving fast and drifting round junctions. It is something I liked about the first game.
Judging by how much Microsoft charge for other accessories, I find it doubtful it will be sold for that cheap. Also Mr Pachter is rarely right.
A Mass Effect game is possible as EA likes to release games on a lot of platforms.
Left4Dead is possible as Valve seem to want to start doing more on PS3
Gears of War game is possible as AFAIK Microsoft only had a 2 game exclusivity deal on Gear of War games.
I don't see the fuss over Remedy Games, they have only made 3 games in all their history i.e.Death Rally, Max Payne and Max Payne 2 (where the Max Payne games are good), but that doesn't mean Alan Wake is going to be good, it could be another Haze all over again i.e. developer who made some good games (Timesplitter games), but then made a crap one and then look what happened to them.
Don't get me wrong, I hope it is a good game, but just because they have made good games in the p...
The only reason I care about sales, is that it means more people to play with online and better developer support.
