I also believe this article is POINTLESS
its like asking " Does the Wii NEED motion controls?" or "Does a Hybrid car NEED an electric motor?"
its part of their design. PS3 doesn't NEED a blu-ray disk reader because it partially IS a blu-ray disk reader
and it gives games an edge with that + less plastic used + less disk swapping + less restrictions for devs.
its a poiintless article to gain hits, and t...
Wrote comment before reading article last night =) cheers
I might get this with the cash I had saved up for FO:NV , since now we know it will be like the last fallout (wait until GoTY edition or be ripped off)
it would be like playing killzone....with a Move controller.
but what really impressed me is at 1:50 - 1:52 you see new reticule on Helgast Rifle, same at 2:41 on heavy M gun
this is AWESOME. means a) heavy machine gun will have reticule aim = yay!
b) finally updatable aiming reticules for different guns = flexibility.
same with sniper too. I'm more hyped over this than move tbh =P but thats because I'm no big move fan.
i hope the tests go well, I don't want them to ruin MP for dual...
one of the most important things to define before ANYTHING else when creating an image is a palate.
I'm happy with thew black and gold, since it strongly contrasts with Deus Ex's black and blue
deus ex / black&blue = cold
deus EX HR / black and gold = warmer
good mental distinction, now here's to hoping the GAME is actually any good.
either way, this game doesn't interest me =| but won't stop it from selling like mad
skynidas, he said "to me", also known as "in my opinion"
he has the right to that.
this is pure flame bait, and you know it. =/
@soultrain - I hope you don't mean thats as a fact. number of people enjoying a product =/= products absolute quality. - thats just your opinion, to pass it as fact makes you sound like a mindless fool
otherwise Beiber would be a the best musician of this generation, Transfor...
I thought they weren't worthy of attention =/
seriously, these guys are as bad as kotaku, except they fling their wang in all directions.
in fairness to the article, i'd say this isn't just a problem with halo, its a problem with all games this generation.
developers rely too heavily on updates and patches, =/ its sad but true. I doubt reach suffers from this exclusively.
here:

new handheld + new tech + nintendo = recipe for success.
probably the new source of market growth for Nintendo
+ better tech/hardware to work with probably.
one is an open world game, the other is a quazi-linear game
if anything, elder scrolls / morrowind is closest to baldur's gate.
but I can't disagree with that. If you didn't, too bad.
I tried morrowind twice.
I got stuck in the same place both times:
Mission (story based) to hunt two vampires with a fellow NPC. NEVER worked. They were always far too powerful and I never knew what to do.
I'll admit it, its was TOO hardcore / loose / unguided for me. Amazing world though, far bigger/richer than Oblivion
I fear they plan for the same here. easy money
I agree about the walking, looked like you were on ice skates. Since its the same engine, unfortunately i'd expect the same mechanics, but they could always have tweaked it.
here's to hoping for the best.
this makes me sad, since I was looking forward to this...I guess I must re-evaluate my choices
I do not want to fork out €60 only to feel like I've been ripped off 6 months later.
I will also be waiting for the GoTY edition.
still, looking good. lets hope there is more to it that sets it apart from COD, BFBC and MoH
so far I've just seen a perfected version of those
not set cameras filming gameplay
because I can.
awesome!
lol @ "20,000 euros, which must be 50 dollas nowdays"
xD
but why it partially IS one.
Its part of its being, of its purpose. without one it wouldn't so much be a PS3, it would be a PS2.5.
companies have to take risks. if they don't what world are we in?
