Woah, gotta say that was quick. Didn't expect the fanboys to jump on this story so quickly. I mean c'mon dude think about what ur saying. I played the RE5 demo on my PS3 (which I'm getting it on) and found it played the same as on my XBOX360. N ow granted I didn't go at my screen with a microscope but to say the 360 has a better version of this game is utter fanboy nonsense.

I wouldn't say it's underated. It's just so difficult to get into since its been out so long. I bought it and after a few hours I just gave up cos it was so difficult and went back to MGO I think it was...now that's awesome online :D.
But on topic, tbh i've never really been a big fan of GTA or DLC but sounds like this is closer a complete new game than an add-on from what I've read. Look forward to reading the verdict of what ppl think of this DLC...might even buy it if its go...
Ok so I've read so many articles stating that the 360 looks and plays better than the ps3 with regard to games. Now I must have something set wrong on my my 37" 1080p tv coz ive yet to find a game that looks better on the 360.
Btw I know I'm gonna get a bunch of disagrees but if you disagree please explain why or if its a problem with settings etc.
K Omega I'll explain it for you. Konami designed their games engine specifically for PS3 whereas S-Enix has always said that their white engine was multiplat. The reason ff13 was not meant to be able to go to 360 was because at the time they were focusing so heavily on the PS3's Specs they thought it would be impossible. And like it or not the 360 version will be gimped if just slightly, but meh of course when the 360 version of a game gets gimped it wont matter eh?...

On the subject. I doubt that this is as serious as everyone is making out. I've already read that most of you made mess about levels. as in they are probabely glitched or you cant get to the end etc. This probabely leads to users complaining about said problems and MM responding by deleting your levels.

I agree, mgs fans will purchase the subsistence edition, I know I will, you always get added features, content etc. which make it worth while. But that'll be released soon, a port to the 360 will take at least a year in which case it will be outdated. As stated before MGS is an aquired taste, and because most of the fanbase is on the ps3 already I cant see this selling well on the 360.

Dude have you ever actually played this game, honestly there's not a thing i'd change, the story is epic and so is the gameplay. MGS is a genre in itself and frankly I prefer using tactics to sneak past the enemy or despatch them in order to make your way to your objective as opposed to killing swarms and swarms of aliens for the entirety of a game.
Tbh I'd much rather they spent their time working on a new mgs and made it multiplatform than waste time porting an old game. I completed the amazingness that was mgs4 a day after relaase and still love the online but I doubt by the time it'd be finished porting to the 360 that it would still be as appealing. I mean think about it, how many ppl are honestly gonna buy bioshock for ps3 when it comes out. Why fork out £40-£50 for an old game when there are brand new cutting edge games ...
