This is probably the worst kind after ubisoft's.
What's wrong with pc? If it's a good game then it should succeed and if not then it'll fail.
"Phantasy Star Online is not an MMO and im sure PSO and PSU worked allot better on console judging from PS2 and PC server closure "
So the PS2 is not a console? Also the Japanese servers for them are still up.
I hate when people say this. Steam = DRM and it does not prevent piracy. There is no drm that works against pirates period.
^^^^
This.
Sigh, oh well. I wasn't really looking forward to it much anyways. It looks exactly the same as the other one except more brown instead of green. *shrug*
I waited in line at midnight and bought the collector's edition of Fallout 3 when it first came out but this time I'll just wait till it drops to a bargain bin price.
I love how companies that are using ridiculous drm that doesn't work and simply annoys legit customers act like they aren't.
AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH HAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAAHHAAHAHHAAHAH!!!!!!!! That's the funniest thing I read all day. Good one.
Also stopped reading at "consider the new service that is going to revolutionize gaming: OnLive." LOL, another good one.
I also love how people try to point out the no cd check like it's a big deal. Because cracks are so hard to find and use right? Give me a break.
The 90's was an amazing time for gaming but I can easily say Doom is number 1.
There goes any hope I had for this movie. I don't get why movies sometimes totally change a character's look. It doesn't matter if you think he's a good actor or not, he doesn't look the part.
Hey let's have Jeff Bridges play Eli from Half-Life 2, who cares if he's not black. He's a good actor right? I hate Hollywood.
Sounds like Trine.
At least Demigod had bots and lan play.
Valve is no saint either. Any drm that makes me have to use the internet just to install or play a single player game makes me sick. Of course all the fanboys will disagree and continue acting like steam is god's gift to man.
Ditto.
Since it'll probably have that insane online drm attached to it.
Just one reason why pc gaming rules. I'm used to preordering pc games on amazon for $30 although this is the best deal I've seen for a game of this caliber.
Targeting wider audience = dumbed down/consolized. What was wrong with the original Deus Ex audience? You know the ones that made it win so many game of the year awards and be on best games of all time lists. Oh well I never had much hope for it anyways and would prefer they just leave Deus Ex/System Shock alone these days. Still, it can't be worse than Deus Ex 2 right?
I like how the writer is bashing anyone against insane drm and also says "crisis averted" like everything is okay now. They didn't reduce crap. It's still as bad as it was. I can't believe companies still haven't learned that this just pisses off the legit customers who will now just not purchase it and constantly 1 star it on amazon. There's no argument for having this type of drm, IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK.
This isn't on PC.
I also noticed the PC Borderlands dropped to $20.
Deus Ex was 2000
Bethesda actually made some decent Terminator games back in the day.
