get in. long may this game continue
the WiiBox4 is the best, by far
i really hope the company i don't work for outsells the other company i don't work for and changes my fortunes in no way whatsoever.
It's nice to own both as they both have great games, but if you had to pick one, I really don't know why people would pick PS4 over Xbox if they'd spent a couple of weeks with both, enjoying all the features.
Microsoft have really got it together this year with all the great updates and IMO, the exclusives are a bit better.
i love this game and have enough patience to wait for the online update.
the sense of speed and graphics are great. having a lot of fun on this.
8/10
i chose Driveclub over Forza Horizon 2 and I'm glad I did. I've only had 2 hours on the game so far but it's pulling me in. The sense of speed is fantastic.
I know I'm really into a game when I want to get all the trophies and make it last longer. Normally they don't concern me
in 20 years of playing games, inFamous Second Son and this DLC have been high up in my most enjoyable games ever. made me glad i bought a PS4
does it really matter what the Xbox One looks like? it's designed to be the centre of your living room and 'probably' go in your living room TV cabinet. So along with the 'box' looking amp and the 'box' looking satellite box, it matches better if you look at it that way. it's just not going to win any design awards.
you could say all AV kit isn't attractive but there you go.
the wii u and PS4 may be 'nicer' designs,...
my xbox gets 5x the play that my PS4 does. i think it's more than okay to own one
i agree. just play the games. get both if you can afford it, play all the exclusives and wonder why the teenagers argue about their preferred system. they're the fu@king same thing
'boring' is mentioned quite a lot. this person clearly doesn't like the PS4 and wasn't very professional.
however, as a person who owns all three, i do sort of see his point. the PS4 has less features when you break it down. i just think calling a great 'games' console boring if off the mark.
where as I like the more interactive X1, some people do just want the games.
paying for games makes me want to play them as much as i can to get my money's worth. plus i want to play online. i've no idea if the XBoxOne or Ps4 can play copied games, but if they could, i wouldn't be interested. the good games these days are well worth £50
I still have the £45 price gun sticker on a MegaDrive copy of Ghouls & Ghosts. Tough game but it can be beat in an hour.
Compare that to Infamous Second Son which I just completed with 100%. That took ages. Now I can play through again with Evil Karma, so I'm really just 50% though.
Modern games are easily worth the price tag if (a) they're AAA and (b) You collect all the achievements / do the side missions etc.
I hope Nintendo have a great E3
I hope Sony have a great E3
I hope Microsoft have a great E3
Yours,
An actual fan of games
as a PS4 ower who has it in the bedroom just for games (great by the way), my xbox one is the living room machine due to it being superior for media and integration with the camera and i really like the kinect.
now the worry is the MS will just deliver basic updates to kinect rather than start to integrate it into most games. it's great for voice control and controlling netflix etc, but i really wanted to see voice control and gestures in most games. now it's just not...
@jaymacx
I see your point but I wouldn't class gaming as expensive. Maybe so for kids, but it's easily within a teenagers reach who's willing to save up. I remember owning both a SNES and Megadrive as a teenager, which equals a PS4 price these days.
Lets say £400 for a console with a 7 year lifespan and maybe a game every 2 months on average. That's not too bad when you compare it to say, someone into cars or my hobby, snowboarding. That ...
if you're serious about playing games, you should buy both really, especially since you should get 7 years(isn) of regular use.
That is, unless you're a kid at your mums house and can't afford both until you move the fu@k out. j/k
I have both (Xbox One as a living room machine, taking advantage of the extra features and PS4 in the bedroom just for games)
I enjoy the features of each but I prefer the Xbox One out of the two, althou...
better controller is a matter of opinion. for me (owning both), the Xbox One's controller is more comfortable, slightly bigger with the thumb sticks in a better place.
that light kills the ps4 battery as well.
all 3. i like the PS4 the least at the moment but that may change down the line
But the screen isn't much bigger than a mobile phone screen (my phone is 5.5" and bigger than that are on the market) and a phone is a better browsing experience than the Switch would be. The operating system is more advanced on your phone after 10 years of updates. Links to Apps etc. Non gamers aren't going to pick up a Switch for a Web Browser when they have a phone in their pocket.
You could argue the Switch needs Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.... but again, we ...
