All of these updates sound great, aside from the lack of fists. As someone who doesn't fight barehanded often in AC games, i question the logic of removing it. Exactly. I never thought the weapon stats made a game changing difference to begin with, so I just don't see the point in paying money for weapons you'll get eventually by playing the game anyways. In my opinion, nothing (gaming wise) beats the feeling of accomplishment you get when you finally get that weapon/armor/etc you've been working for
As a HUGE God of War fan, i was kinda disappointed with Kratos in the previous game. It didn't stop me from using him more than anybody else, but i feel like they made him way too slow and his move set could have been a lot better imo. I was hoping to see him return in X, new and improved
I love the idea of Sweet Tooth for the PS character! I think it could also be (potentially) awesome if for the DLC they added a couple of DBZ characters imo, since the two franchises would probably have a largely overlapping fanbase.

It definitely irks me when preorder bonus content is stuff that could be considered vital to the game. The only games i preorder are games from franchises that i have been a fan of for a long time and either 1) I am as certain as i can possibly be that i will not be disappointed or 2) the game looks good and said franchise has earned my purchase of a copy of the game in question with previous releases.

I look at microtransactions the same way I've looked at cheat codes growing up, because essentially that's all they are. AC1 had the advantage of being innovative for its time, but by the time I finished it, it just got WAY too repetitive. it was the same mission 8 or so times, then got really interesting towards the end. As an AC fan though, I do think it was a great game. Black Flag is my favorite of the franchise, followed closely by 2.

I agree completely! While I was disappointed with how late in the game Edward is finally inducted into the brotherhood, AC4 is my favorite of the franchise so far, with AC2 and AC:B being my second favorites, as in quality I see them as equal. I was hoping for a larger part of the story in 4 to feature Edward as an official assassin, but that doesn't make it any less AC in my eyes.

Actually this is a part of Kratos's story that i've wondered about since the first game. How do you just break an oath to Ares? I've always wondered how that went down. there had to have been more than "Hey Ares, i'm upset that you tricked me into murdering my family, so, this isn't working for me. i know i swore an oath to you and all, but yeah.... I don't think they intended the trophy to get much recognition from the player or the public. In every game, a trophy has been awarded for every major antagonist you defeat, this is no different. All they did was throw in some humor (funny or not) in with awarding the trophy. i think everybody is overcomplicating and overreacting... IMO
