As I said on Twitter, 3DS backlash.
Correction: PS4 has no good Japanese games. Battlefield 4 is outselling Yakuza Isshin. This should be a seen as a sign of trouble but most will brush it off to the platform being delayed in the region. It's not.
Why exactly are the Wii U strecth goals higher than platforms that aren't even established yet?
This level of trolling is god-tier.
Is it confirmed for Wii U?
Someone obviously did not watch the video.
It's looks the logo from Double Fine's new game Massive Chalice but it's not.
If an HD Metroid existed you would get it regardless, even it was 2-D; if you truly were a fan.
@Kevlar009 Whenever I hear a discussions on games and the primary focus is graphics and/or specs I immediately tune out. So it's quite easy for me to ignore.
The Wii brought in new gamers and older ones. That is how it changed the discussion. The majority of the shovelware on the Wii came from the very 3rd parties who are now shunning the Wii U. In fact, the titles that sold well payed for many a AAA 3rd party title, which benefited only them not Nintendo.
Your defeatist attitude is a serious problem regardless of how many poorly ported 3rd party games you purchase. This is something worth being a part of, even if you believe otherwise.
I believe 2014 is going to force alot of hand on the 3rd party side. The PS4 and Xbox 180 will sell respectively but so will the Wii U and ultimately it's the shareholders that will determine what goes to what platform when numbers don't add up. The higher development costs of the PS4 and Xbox 180 will be their downfall.
You will see more closures and less risks taken and the Wii U' greatly improved install base over the holidays combined with future 1st party soft...
Sony and Microsoft need real next-gen consoles because all i saw from them were more graphics and software that we already have an abundance of now.
If that's the case then why are they developing on two consoles with zero install base. You would think from a business perspective that developers like this would seek as many platforms as possible or at least develop on one without any competition in its prospective genre.
The Wii U could be as powerful as the PS4 and western developers would find some way to avoid it. It's not hate toward Nintendo, it's a total indifference to all Nintendo does.
You are part of the problem.
Shame on all of N4G for not supporting this. (-_-)#
The only death sentence I saw was Microsoft's price point. Nintendo on the other hand...
Nintendo needs system sellers. And "core" Mario ain't it.
And I thought graphics didn't matter to Nintendo fans.
It was never intended for them in the first place. The game was postponed for the 3DS to accomodate more platforms thus the backlash.
