Looks like Level 5 has made some major strides in the graphics engine. Even though these are just screen shots the texture improvements are very obvious. Good stuff.
I hope this rumor is true because I really liked the first Commandos game quite a bit. It would be nice to see the series comeback.
That would be a fantastic idea. The PSP would be a good platform for a new, side story of DMC because I think Capcom wil re-release the original trilogy in an up-scaled collection similar to GoW1&2. Either way, some new DMC would be nice.
I find it odd that a full review for a game featuring a significant online component would appear prior to the game's network even going live.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Though I don't know who's more retarded: the guy who wrote this garbage article or me for clicking the link even though I know better. Ah what the hell this guy's definitely more retarded.
This is still one of the best games released this generation irregardless of platform choice. The way Criterion handled DLC for this game is the model EVERY other developer out there should try emulating.
That Micheal Patcher is an idiot is the only thing all gaming fans, irregardless of console loyalties, can agree on. Bless you Micheal for being able to bridge the bitter gaps of this console war with your endless stream of stupid predictions and lack wit observations.
I keep reading about how this game has a horrible release date and will be slaughtered, sales wise, by FF13. Well yeah it's not going to sell anywhere near the number of copies FF13 will but this game will have a longer lifespan thanks to the online co-op. I can see WKC being a sleeper hit in the same vein as Demon's Souls has become.
Star Ocean 4 was a good game. I rented it on the 360 and had a lot of fun with it. From what I read the PS3 port is suppose to be a much improved version. I wouldn't mind playing through it again so I may wind up picking it up when it releases. I haven't read much on Last Rebellion but I saw a debut trailer. It definitely looks interesting.
If it weren't for the fact that RPGamer covered some of the more obscure titles out there the site wouldn't be worth visiting what with the lousy writers they keep on staff. That said I do have some reservations about White Knight. From some of the import reviews I read it definitely lacked polish. I know Level 5 has a good track record and I was a fan of the Dark Cloud series as well as of Dragon Quest VIII but I was disappointed with Rogue Galaxy. Either way I'm going to rent it first t...
It's just a matter of time before SF winds up on the PS3. The only real knock against the PSP titles is the lack of a second analog nub which won't be a problem on the PS3. I'd like to see Sony position it as a continuation of the storyline from the PSP titles but I wouldn't mind a reboot. Just so long as they kept the gameplay from the PSP titles intact.
You made some good points that I hadn't thought about. While I can't say I'm thrilled with the prospect of paying for any sort of PSN access, premium or otherwise, seeing as the current model will stay free then I can't fault Sony for trying to make a buck with this idea. If I had to be honest I really like the idea of cloud saves (especially if they imitate the Steam service in this regard) and all access to PS1 games but is it worth a yearly fee to me? Luckily I have a legitimate choice ...
You've got 2 Disagrees! I guess no one's picking up on the sarcasm.
Their games are spread across many different genres from what I can see. Plus there's probably quite a few games from SCE's 1st and 2nd party partners that haven't been revealed yet. Personally I'm hoping for a PS3 Syphon Filter game and a new Twisted Metal but those probably won't release until 2011 if at all.
I thought this series was okay. It dragged on too long but it had some decent gameplay. I had been curious as too whether or not this series was going to be brought back. I guess this answers my curiosity.

Just checked their website a few minutes ago and Amazon is offering Uncharted 2 for 40 bucks. Personally I'm hoping for a price cut for Assassin's Creed 2 on Cyber Monday.
I'll echo the earlier poster who noted that Amazon is price matching this year. It seems they're being very aggressive this year.
Yeah I agree. Dead Space may have borrowed a bunch of mechanics from other games, the RE series included, but it did a great job meshing all it's elements together: eerie environments, moody score, finely tuned controls, great shooting mechanics, etc. I think the RE teams ought to take a look at what Dead Space and Siren: Blood Curse did and maybe start rethinking the entire RE design. A reboot of the Resident evil series altogether may be the best thing for Capcom to do at this point. IM...
Ditto.....I'm not paying full price for half a developers effort.
