I have answered you already, you just fail to understand it.
But here we go again.
"Do minimum PC specs go up as the years go on or are they always the same minimum PC specs?"
Yes they go up.
That's my point exactly if they never went up developers would always be held back by older hardware (like the xbone). Imagine if games still ran on single core CPU's how limited they would be compared to modern...
Wow the site got super laggy and I check back and big surprise vote bottling, haha my comment went from 3 disagrees to 23 disagrees and gansta_red's comment went from 3 agrees to 36 agrees in about 10 mins.
Digital games stay full price for WAY longer than physical. Often within a few weeks of launch you can find games for 10 or even 20 dollars less on Amazon.
I dunno, even when I see games on sale digitally since I prefer physical I always check to see if I can get a hard copy for the same or cheaper and honestly more often than not Amazon has the game cheaper than the sale price.
I think it would be more accurate to say that Microsoft is trying to figure out how to stay relevant in gaming when they are having so much trouble dealing with Sony and Nintendo's dominance in the console market.
No one is being forced, people want to buy next gen consoles. I am going to pre-order my PS5 as soon they open the orders.
All your proving is how hard of a time Microsoft is going to have selling the SX if people like you are saying you're going to wait to buy a new console.
"but it will come down to more of the special features and performance upgrades each console will bring."
I agree, things like processing textures off the SSD because it's hundreds of times faster than an HDD? And having better physics and smarter AI and more NPCs using a Zen CPU that's 4-6 times faster than current gen Jaguar.
Ya know, it's sad to see people talking down the whole next gen just because of one decision their favorit...
And let me once again ask you if the base xbone can do everything that the SX can do then what is going to happen after two years? Why is Microsoft saying that eventually they will have full next gen games if game development is just "SCALING"?
Yes, I agree. Trying to sell people a third (or fourth) $500 xbox in 7 years is going to be a tough sell. It's all the more reason I think PS5 will sell that much faster than the SX.
And of course let's go round and round while I explain the difference between an HDD and a 300+ times faster SSD and how Zen is 4-6 times as powerful as Jaguar. While you stick your fingers in your ears and mumble "graphic sliders" over and over.
No one is complaining about cross gen games, the complaint is Microsoft saying they won't have any non-cross gen games for their own console.
They are the platform holder people expect that they will be leading the charge to show people what the next generation has to offer. And it's their own loss because they won't be giving many people what they expect when they buy a "next gen" console. It's just going to slow the adoption rate for their cons...
Where does this rumor that Sony paid to keep RE off anything even come from? Back in the day I don't remember hearing that and I have literally searched the internet trying to find any confirmation of this. They just had the most popular console at the time. Just because it wasn't on other systems doesn't mean it was because it was a paid exclusive.
You guys seem to be making this up to deflect from the fact that Microsoft from day 0 was paying to keep games o...
Septic, what can they do, other than paying to keep games off the other systems?
Which I find hilarious because xbox folks constantly complain about Sony having exclusives yet constantly want to see Microsoft pay to steal exclusives and buy developers to keep games off Switch and PlayStation.
And you know, thats why many people don't like Microsoft, because from day 0 all they have done is pay to try to bring down Sony and Nintendo, stealing their fr...
If you think Sony isn't going to have games your kidding yourself. They have been releasing at least three major games year after year as well as releasing and publishing dozens of other games and VR games.
Almost all of their studios can produce more than one game at a time and haven't shown anything for 3 or more years. Rumors of the PS4 dev kit's being in the wild started way back in 2017. I...
