Love Gears =)
The pack they want people to purchase from is called "The Potato Sack" - A pack of 13 indie games that are reduced when bought in the pack. Playing them brings portal closer to release.
The potatoes are being sent because of the potato sack that they want people to play for an early portal release. I just find it simple and amusing that people are now sending real potatoes.
Props to whoever thought to do it! Brilliant stuff.
Really? I think this is enough to make Toon Link look good. Not a big fan of this art style for Link
To build on my previous point.. games are still coming out that better current releases.. so unless for monetary gain.. I see no point in them NOW. Maybe next year..
Love it
I did this with my mac a few years ago. It's interesting with the old NES and Sega emulators!
The Wii2 talk has if anything got me hyped for E3 a lot.. The wii is without a doubt in need of its next gen version now and has been for a while.. It will be interesting to see how Nintendo stay ahead with other consoles moving in on motion tech - Show's how they have good intuition for where to take the market though surely?
In terms of PS3 and Xbox 360 successors.. It's inevitable I guess. On one hand Sony promised 10 years, and I think MS did too? But on another ...
I didn't know it was 2012 for the release rumor.. if that's the case surely it'll be makng more of an entrance at e3 2012 or a solo event? I'd imagine it'd be early 2012 if announced this year.. Though can't think of much else Nintendo could offer..
True. But equally good graphics in shooters allow due a clearer playing environment and really enhance any story supporting the campaign so it's not same old bombed land over and over.
I think they enhance and aid with immersion. If the game has a good story it works well, but often good graphics, mixed with correct use of sound and generally good mechanics are all ultimately needed to immerse the player into the environment. So if anything you do need good graphics but not fully, and you can't rely on them alone as it's a combination.
That's how I spent my playtime with the first one =)
Like it or love it FPS games are part of the industry..as are racing, action, adventure title and so on.
Seeing developments and the way games are going in general regardless of genre is always good for me.. I tend to base my anticipation on this, for example Homefront's marketing had me really hyped for a type of game I rarely play.
Now I'm not a FPS fan, I personally love games that focus more on adventure and story like Uncharted and Final Fantas...
Games like uncharted really make game for me more than FPS. FPS just bore me eventually
Story and Gameplay come first for me. It's what gets me hooked. Then its a case of how they build on immersion and engross me in the story.. So its not either or.. Its a mix.
Links working fine for me?
Its publishers pushing devs to the point that they become incompetent.
Yeah.. there were a fair few floating about. Kid version of Sonic, Kid of Sonic. I think they've worked well bringing classic sonic into 3D!
That's progress though isnt it? Building onto what was last made so you look back and don't find yourself thinking "God... the originals were so much better"
Equally I'd love it if the game was on par with the second =) So long as it isnt worse I'm sure everyones happy! Too much "The last one was better" with games atm...
As a fan of the series I'd like to think it'd be the best - Maintain that whole improving with each release thing!
The music alone has me excited! Hearing it brought back awesome memories!
