I personally like Skies. But. Too many female characters, now very dated graphics and the most random battles that have ever been in any game. EVER means that Skies is not for everyone

Funny, I liked it personally. Have any of you that are commenting actually played it or are you basing your responses on a video?

So much defensiveness. I'm glad you are happy with your wii u purchase however i will not be buying one for the following reasons:

First and foremoest it has no games that I am interested in

Nintendo are really out of touch with the things I like and care about as a consumer

My wii was never used. It was mostly a paper weight. I used it for maybe 200 hours in the 8ish years that I had it. I played skyrim for longer than that.

This is really a reply to shauncameron, "illusion of length" "difficulty for difficulty's sake?" Why can't all hold all these buzzwords. Difficulty is to provide a greater challenge. The people who have the skill to beat the higher difficulty leave with a sense of accomplishment that just isn't there in easier games. Multiplayer increases the lifespan of games which isn't really the point of this article. The point of this article is the length of single pl...

I am willing to bet that there will be at least 1 title that makes every system worth buying. Well... Every system except the nextbox, Microsoft seems super keen to push Kinect as its system seller and that just does not appeal to me. The maximum extent of motion controls for me is minor things like shaking your controller to reload. Or using voice commands to use abilities. Outside of that I think traditional controls are where it's at.

Title is a tad misleading, I actually thought you had some unique unseen information

Are they actually getting longer though? As a whole, haven't they mostly been getting smaller? Unless you want to count massive open world RPGs like TES games have mostly been becoming shorter with more cutscenes taking up the already shrinking play time.

If you disrespect somebody else's work. And are then forced to defend yourself, I think it is safe to say that you've been put in your place. Do you disagree?

The fact that he works at gearbox is entirely relevant. If he didn't write a game that wasn't considered for an award I doubt he'd have posted the tweet at all. Further if the first person to accuse him of being upset hadn't been right on the money I doubt he'd have responded to it, much so defensively. He's a smart guy, I'm sure he knows rationally that responding to that kind of tweet doesn't end well, yet if he was upset about something then he is far more l...

For me it really depends on the game. Some games I feel don't really need any added content, for example Mass Effect but if there needs to be one I think I'd prefer a prequel. In Uncharted there's a great deal of potential for either a sequel or a prequel as one can imagine Sully and Nate having further adventures and we know that there's a lot of their history that we don't know about.

Cheat codes have been replaced by "dlc" that does the same thing. LOOKING AT YOU RED ENVELOPE IN SLEEPING DOGS!

Actually if you read his tweets you'd see that he wasn't actually out of line. The person who wrote Tiny Tina described her in the script as "tiny white girl using craaaaaazy black lingo". Anyway, he didn't get fired. He quit

Did you try Gamestop, I know one was selling it today because they knew other retailers had broken the street date.

I saw no mention of the hair in this one though... For the record I prefer DMC4. I loved Dante as this almost godlike figure that is just acting as a safety net for Nero. I liked putting endless hours into the game to get my SSS. I liked Bayonetta even more. Pure Platinuming the whole game on hard was an enjoyable experience for me

You really believe that a small website you've never heard of is paid by Ninja Theory? Interesting. Get that tinfoil hat on tightly you don't want the Illuminati or the Masons beaming things into your head.

Power Glove... hard to top that. Not unless you're one of the 5 people that bought a Virtual Boy
