50-odd comments prove that people do, in fact, give one. Either that, or folks sure do love to chat about things they care naught for.
Yeah - I think anyone who is up in arms over this is more annoyed over the concept of censorship rather than the specifics of this specific case. We really don't have a valid reason to wanna shoot the civvies, like :D
Swapping games and items is a great way to make sharing games acceptable again.
This is a good point - parents should police their children's activity. The gent in question was 20, though, so is pretty autonomous from their control.
The responsibility lies with an individual just as much - don't keep up unhealthy habits, and always look out for your personal health.
To clarify, he did die of a blood clot, but the cause of that was not gaming, in my opinion.
Like Jennifer Newsome points out, gaming was not the cause of death here. This was a totally unfortunate, unexpected event caused by some sort of underlying ailment.
Absolutely, Fabian. They have cited this as a pretty convincing reason for the internet connection requirement, and it does make sense for that reason. Does this make it a positive thing? Who knows!
The modern PC gamer is so internet-dependant that I can't see this being a super-huge issue for most fans. With gaming stores only having one tiny PC section these days, we purchase and play a good number of games online anyway.

Note I said "buying everything" - you would need to buy into all monetised content, which I recognise casual gamers may not do.
In terms of players not playing many other games bar CoD, sure this is true! This is also tr...
Buying everything for CoD over a year versus doing the same as WoW would have you severely mor eout of pocket, but no one complains about that! :P
I really enjoyed helping Andrew with this interview. If you had the chance, what would you have asked Mark?
I can't begin to say how excited I am! :D :D :D
I adore the beta so far, and I really loved collaborating on this piece. Have any of you played the beta yet? What have you liked and disliked?
Unsurprising but sad news. A little bit more connection with the fan base could have saved this from happening.
This piece got me really excited, but I was kinda looking forward to the flight. :/
This will allow people to catch up before Gears 3.
Sales like this keep gaming affordable for the masses - get it while its hot, gamers!
I have a huge collection of EA games - I can certainly say I'm not surprised at the profits!
Thanks, man! I have my fingers crossed ahaha!
Yeah, there are some small mobile games here, but there are no established publishers or anything of that nature, and not much of a break into console or PC titles.
The really sad part of that is that both of our universities and our technical colleges offer professional qualifications in game design, and those talented people can't get gaming work here. That really needs to change in my book!
