I swear, if this happens, it will be my first day one purchase of a Pokemon game since Gold.
Well...
I kinda don't want my massive dick-castle on my shelf. But then again, it would be a great conversational piece.
Sorry. Fucking lost it at "Captain Fuyni."
I'm in this group.
I have a job, a minimum-wage-with-not-a-lot-of -hours job, and I go to a local college. It's not super expensive, but I couldn't afford to pay an extra $9000 a year to live in a dorm, nor did I want to.
When I got my first refund check, I used to it buy games on the Steam sale and Christmas presents for my family. Without it, I'd have been broke, only having enough money for food and gas for my car.
One year...

When did having the most impressive tech instantly make it the better console? Yes, I'm aware that the better tech you have, the more things you can do in a game.
That being said, it really should be all about the games. PS2 was weak compared to the Xbox/Gamecube, yet it's possibly the best console in history, thanks to its gigantic library of amazing games.
The Wii might have sold well, but that doesn't make it a gr...
There's a difference between hating on a developer for a move like this, and sending retarded death threats to the company on Twitter.
I still lol at the "I'M GOING TO KICK A DOLPHIN IN THE VAGINA" tweet.
It's essentially the same thing. You sign Free Agents, you draft, you trade. I don't know what the off season is like, but from what I've seen and played, it's the same thing.
I have a few problems with it, for sure, but it's definitely not poor like the last few iterations of Madden.
The weird RPG elements of Connected Careers don't really seem to make a whole lot of sense, and when you start a career, the ratings are all sorts of fucked up (Brady a 98 overall in the regular game is a 93 in CCM).
My biggest gripes are the AI pass coverage on your team and the shed blocker moves.
The first is by far the mos...
There is. People are just stupid.
You choose The Coach in Connected Careers.

Actually, it can. They have like $80 bil in the bank, and can afford to lose a billion a year for 80 years.
Terrible business model, but still. Possible.
I think the key in that sentence is DLC.
With as many characters as DC has, a good chunk of them are going to be DLC.
Hopefully, they make character packs, like "Justice League Pack: Gives Aquaman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern." or "Teen Titans Pack: Gives Starfire, Cyborg, Robin." Stuff like that. Make it reasonable, as always.
It was a good game, but certainly not one of the best.
Well, they've gotten more complex, more refined, and overall a more polished genre.
On the downside, it seems that the market is flooded with them, and very few are good enough to stand out among the others.
The only reason this conversation is happening is because of the oversaturation of FPSs in the market, which causes complacency, which irritates gamers who enjoy the genre, as it makes them feel like they're spending a decent amount of cash for so...

Have you not played any of the 2k football games? They were great. Especially 2K5, the holy grail of realistic football sims. It was because 2K5 was so well done, and it was $20 at launch, that EA and NFL created the deal for exclusivity.
I still think First-Person Football was the most underrated aspect of that game.
It's one thing to state that they haven't done jack shit to the game since 05. It's another thing to do something about it.
If 13 brings a lot more than just the generic Madden experience, I'll pick it up and may consider purchasing 14.
Still, this might not have happened if the NFL didn't sign the exclusivity contract with EA and let EA and 2k Sports compete against each other.
Because the PC versions of Madden didn't sell well, so EA cut their losses by not wasting time or resources developing for PCs.
When they showed the SmartGlass "draw your own play" at E3, you knew they were going to add this into the Wii U version.
You've obviously never played NFL 2k5.
He may not have been pleased, but that does not mean it was in any way a bad game. SMS is probably the most underrated Mario game.
There's always hope that Nintendo buys it back and reloads it with awesome talent.
Rare and Nintendo was the most glorious combination to happen to gaming since the mouse and keyboard.
