The reason why many people are commenting on graphics is because when websites do multi-platform comparisons, what do they look at the most (if anything else)? When determining what version is the best, what element of the game is picked at, over content and game-play? Now when looking at PlayStation 3 exclusives, this is still implied, but when looking at the XBOX 360, it all of a sudden doesn't matter.
This is a major contradiction that the gaming industry has, or what many gam...
..to see if the final game is actually different or not, the screen-shots aren't in high resolution to really see a difference.
lol, for some reason the images won't change:
Halo 3: OSDT - http://www.bungie.net/image...
Halo: Reach -
I have feeling they might dish out the same game, but this time the graphics actually upgraded.
I have a feeling that God of War 3 will be better, but Halo will be more popular. Just look at the last two games, they didn't do anything new and sold well. Now compare that to Metal Gear Solid 4, or Uncharted 2 that are actually good games but didn't sell as well as Halo 3.
Halo merely sells on its brand and not on the game itself. I think the same with the "Left 4 Dead" series, just reselling the same game with a new name. Does anyone think that "Prince of Persi...
That depends on what you consider cheating, because cheating using requires an individual to manipulate a system. With Modern Warfare 2, it's more of an exploit that the developers missed that can be used in the user's favour that anyone can use is different than pirating software/hardware that requires the user's end to change something.
You do know it's also for the PC, which many people are using to type comments on N4G.com?
When something doesn't work as it should, isn't it a bug/glitch?
Isn't a beta to test the game to make sure there isn't any bugs/glitches in a game?
You do know you're stating that XBOX 360 players want Sony games? How ironic is that one?
lol, you said it, most of the things about the videos is about preference, meaning it's a popularity contest, not about facts.
The reason why I said that because the gun moves around a lot like in Killzone 2, making it more realistic instead of the static gun mechanics in most first person shooters.
Killzone 2 added a level of realism to first person shooters that made it so famous and as well infamous at the same time. With that said, Killzone 2 might have made it easier for this game to be accepted if it follow suit, a lot of people weren't ready in my eyes or just hated the PlayStation 3 looking good,...
The game is a hybrid of Killzone 2 with movement/environment, Team Fortress colour scheme, and with Mirror's Edge climbing mechanics.
A lot of people complained about the aiming in Killzone 2, I wonder if this game will follow suit with the complaints or accept it as it is?
The best thing is, I can play both on my PlayStation 3.
I was thinking the same thing, even though using the word "exploit" can mean taking advantage of a glitch, but in this case it's a bug. It just makes you wonder why Microsoft would ban their paying users for using a bug to their advantage.
Another thing I'm wondering to is why these things never get picked up when the game is also on the XBOX 360, I have a feeling if it was only the PS3 version it would be all over reviews. Something similar happened with Gears of War 2...
To me that's what makes Valve's situation so ironic, all those PS3 developers had to learn as much as any third/second party developer. That's the whole point of being a programmer, that you constantly relearn new things every so often.
This is why I think that all Valve games look so alike, because they don't like being developers, developers constantly relearn new technology. What you know today, can be obsolete the next day and I think they (Valve) especially Gabe hates that r...
I would have to respectively disagree; I would rather not pay for a service which is essentially free on another platform with better quality games. For example Call of Duty Modern Warfare franchise (CODMF) is popular on XBOX Live, and is the exact same thing on PlayStation Network, what makes it so different?
- More people on XBL, I can always find a game in CODMF on my PSN?
- Cross game chat, ruins the whole point of the game, plus I can use the chat room system on my PS3...
lol, you need to relax; you do know that you can install Yellow Dog Linux for better browsing?
You do know that the PS3 has a browser and they're making it better for facebook in the next update? How can the actual site itself fail against a mimic service on XBOX Live? What's really funny XBOX 360 owners pay for a mimic service while PlayStation 3 users get the real thing for free, or install Yellow Dog Linux for better navigation also for free.
When playing an XBOX 360 using cross game chat the in game talking is muted on your side while you talk to someone else from another game. I think it's so popular because on PSN you can't cheat in games like Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare or even Halo 3. So if Sony ever brings that feature allow developers to implement it or not.
And doesn't the text only chat rooms allows you to talk to other people and more than one at a time while being in-game (Chat Room x3, 16x3 in each room)...
I'm not sure about Hip Hop Gamer but with the comparisons all it does is fuel the bias by the followers. The only difference here is that the XBOX 360 has less screen tearing, less screen tearing, lol but they don't incorporate what's in the game itself.
I'm with madkrazygames because most of what you said is true, but when put into practice the game feels more of the exact same thing. The enemies still blindly run at you, the story doesn't seem too strong, overall when I'm playing the only real difference seems that it's taken place during the day instead of the night in a different setting (with of course characters that pertain to the setting).
Most of what you mentioned is a typical upgrade from game to game, what really coun...
For some reason I got modded, but I didn't even mention the artechture of the XBOX 360 or any gamer bias towars/against any company.

I'm looking at "CWMR" and they say Sony Fanatics are bad, you question something about Halo you get banned, lol. I guess a troll is someone who questions something about the content underneath the content, right
