There is no need for much better graphics than PS3 puts out. Heck...hardly any games even come close to the graphical fidelity of a few select franchises (Uncharted, Killzone, God of War, Metal Gear Solid)...
With so few games pushing the current limit of the tech in PS3, I ask what the hell would devs do with any more power in the Nintendo Evolution?!?!
There is no need for PS4...yet! Just make more kick arse games that meet/exceed the few we've seen (you know the ones)!
It shouldn't be hard for more developers to churn out Killzone/Uncharted quality visuals, with unique experiences like Demon's Souls (not exactly an eyesore) and generally awesome action packed and occasionally intuitive gameplay!
With those things PS3 has a LOT of life left! And a lot of PROFIT from games. Are you listening ...
Crysis 2 looks great! However it lacks the polish of Killzone 3 AND even Killzone 2 looks sharper and more vibrant. Rightfully they should look better!
But for a multiplatform game, Crysis 2 looks g*ddamn great!
No more CoD or it's clones please. Put the damned military FPS to rest!

Surely there is room in the world for many games to look great! I will have both Crysis 2 AND Killzone 3 on PS3.....and not for a moment will I care which looks better...they both look GREAT!
Played the demo....realised it's yet another boring FPS that I've played a thousand times before, and will probably not be buying the game.

Killzone 3 is the current console graphics king. Among many other great PS3 exclusives that are actually UNIQUE! NOT realistic military shooters...so boring those are.

The official announcement of Demon's Souls 2 alone would be more than enough for me. Of course screens/live footage would be a nice bonus.

Gears of War uses Unreal engine. GOD of War uses it's own unique engine...with fixed camera angles.
Please don't ruin Demon's Souls by going to Unreal engine OR God of War engine :(

Demon's Souls has it's own great engine. GOW3 you can't even move the camera...such a disappointment. Besides I like Demon's Souls art direction and graphics better than GOW3.
On that note...Demon's Souls is my personal favorite game of any genre of ALL TIME! They don't need to change a thing for the sequel...just give us more worlds to explore. The ONLY thing i might like to see is varying weather patterns dependent upon world tendency.
Perhaps the best game I've ever played. I can't STOP playing it after over 120 hours into it. My PS3 phatty broke after my first time thru and I had to start over on a new Slim :(
But anyway...don't even sit on the fence. This game is worth well over $60. But KNOW what you're getting into :)
Ironically after 2 flawless years with my 40GB phatty...she got the YLOD yesterday. Playing KZ2 happily and all of a sudden...shut down. Turn back on and am met with 3 beeps...quick yellow flash...blinking red light which must be pressed to turn off.
I went out and got myself a slim the same day. I may call sony to have my phatty repaired or replaced for the fee and then I'll have myself a backup.
What a disappointment though. Over 100 hours with Demon's Souls.....
Am I the only one who is PO'd about FromSoftware wasting their time on this PC port for a bunch of ungrateful "elitists" when they could have been working on their next masterpiece of a game?!?!
