Hey, i've had a system that can run games at 1080p 60+ fps for years. it's called a PC. and the graphics are MUCH MUCH better.
see Cryengine 3 tech demo.

Besides...Chris is definitely gay. no straight guy spends that much time in the gym.
a 4850. lol. that was the budget version of the "top" cards in 2008. why would you be excited about that?
I know. These videos always get me.
Already scheduled a week off of work just to immerse myself in Halo.
lol. what a joke. out of 55 comments? nice sample.
i wouldn't put this game in my top 50. i can't believe how dumbed down people's expectations of quality are. the game had a generic story, generic characters, cliche plot "twists," and puzzles (if you can call them that) that solve themselves for you.
look at a game like bioshock. the story was great, the bad guy was interesting and unique. the setting was one-of-a-kind.
...
Like Crysis 3 will look 1/2 that good on console. lol.
Also, i don't find Killzone to be a visually impressive franchise at all. I think a lot of people just see what they want to see. Which is aided by Killzone's dramatically limited color palette.
I get so tired of hearing some Sonyheads spout on about how great they think their system and their developers are, and speculating about how PS4 will be the ultimate console because blah blah. It's...
Halo Reach looks pretty damn good.
8 gb of quality ram is 45 bucks.
if true, this console is a joke.
i have both of those pre-ordered and paid for (borderlands for PC though...just built a new beast comp). and last night, just for the heck of it, i got guild wars 2. so much fun.
i hate to say it, but i think dishonored and AC3 are going to have to wait til next year. though i might still get liberation for vita so i can actually play the thing. :-P
I'd like to completely open up my Vita. I'd still buy all my games. sometimes, it's just nice to see how far you can push a piece of hardware. and the vita (which i just bought a couple weeks ago) seems like it would be a lot of fun to tool around with.
Well, the character attributes would have to change quite a bit. and probably the physics, as they apply to the TF2 characters. I doubt L4D2, as it is, would allow for things like rocket jumping.
It would take more than some skin changes and update weapon roster. But, they both run in the same engine, so i'm sure it could be done.
If anyone from valve reads this, make it happen. Hell, i'd shell out 50 bucks to play TF2 4 Dead.
I keep hoping valve (or a modder) makes a left 4 dead map where you get to play as the characters from TF2. With all the class abilities that are available in the game.
would be so fun!
Pretty impressive use of the source filmmaker.
I don't understand this comment. are you being sarcastic? trolling?
this is how desperate facebook is. and those of us who understood the scam that is facebook, saw this coming for months now. facebook how no choice but to add gambling because their fraud company is tanking.
i played for about 3 rounds, then realized how incredibly stupid it is. deleted it 30 seconds later.
If you think MS is going to let development on Halo 5 fall behind, you're crazy. It hasn't taken them 3.5 years to develop Halo 4. It's taken them 3.5 years to develop tech for Halo 5. By the time that game hits, they'll have 5+ years behind it. I guarantee that it'll be the best looking console game in 2014.
I'm sure ND and Guerrilla will continue working on those franchises, and i'm sure they'll look good. but, i'll be surprised if ...
Did i just get an ad to click through to an article?
WTF N4G? Guess it's time to move on.
just looked at your last 3 comments. you're just a troll. if you hate 360 so much, stop fixating on it. it's pathetic.
There's a "spelling class?"
considering MS is already offering something similar on the current gen, it's hard not to judge.
nintendo is behind the times. they aren't in touch with the majority of the market. it's pretty obvious.
i know there are still a lot of nintendo fanboys out there. i used to be one of them. til gamecube when i finally learned my lesson. it's time to recognize quality for quality and not project what we want into something that isn't there...
