Why the hell would they make a format to support a resolution that high? We are just getting into 1080p and now theres a UHDTV. Come on, just come up with a way to make HDTV less expensive for the masses and then we'll talk UHDTV!
This is looking like a pleasant surprise. I didn't think much of Rain at first b/c of the trailer was all cgi,but the gameplay actually looks to be up to the task. I hope it turns out well and is it me or is the 360 getting a ton of brand new IP's?
This game has so much promise to be move systems that it's rediculous. If they can get the gameplay right and a good story to go with it we might have another AAA title on our hands. I just hope that everything comes together.
Crysis is on a whole different level and just wipes it's azz with everything else at the moment. So besides Crysis, UT3 is one sweetest lookin games in production.
These guys just wont quit! Their games are taking them to the top of the development ladder and with Gears then this it doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.
I just cant see the logic in getting a PS3 for at least another year or two. There are not enough games and the price is thru the roof. Why pay for potential when you can actually get quality now. When the potential that everyone keeps talking about finally arrives it maybe to little to late.
No doubt about it's graphics but I can'nt see people falling all over themselves to kick out $600 just to play it. Looks like a game you'll play for a couple of days and just push it to the back of the self until you trade it.
This is one of those games that you take a look at and if it matures then everyone jumps on the bandwagon, but if it flops it will go pretty much unheard in the eyes of many. Good for us 360 fans nothing to loose sleep over for the PS3 guys.
The first one was awesome and if they tweak the game play just bit it should be a big hit for the spring. The graphical updates are just gravy.
If more people buy HD DVD players then the more support that could come their way. The biggest obstacle of HD DVD is the lack of studio support and no big box office smash has come out to the HD DVD camp in a while. They need movies like LOTR's, Rush Hour, Blade and 300, when it comes out, to make a big splash.
