The problem isnt with the in car view. Its that it has no physical presence in the car. No head movement or physics. When is the last time you watched a high speed in car camera and the head didnt bob or move around. Just because there is a view for it doesnt substitute the aspect of physics that are to be pr...
Only one area that Shift takes cake is the in car view. There is simply no driving game out there that actually takes into account the physics of the driver when driving the car. Thats an actual racing experience with the physics even applied in the car. Thats how it should be. Im glad Shift pays attention to this. As GT5 and Forza 3 completely forget about this aspect. In many ways Shift has a better focus on the driving experience than the bigger titles.
Its actually pathetic that we are almost to DX12 and consoles are on DX9.0c modified. Im sick of the old. I want the new.
It would be nice to see these guys dive into some more innovative titles. Its great to see innovation being put into focus. Ill be more than happy to add them to The Future Gen
There is one problem with it. Its basically an old Gran Turismo title with a new skin of paint. The bumper car effect is still there and the graphics are superior on the premium cars and less superior on the standard cars. The AI is not good at all. I went to a friends and played it and I wasnt digging it at all.
