IMO, I'd still play it with/out co-op but a co-op does help so yea add that.
Also, for co-op, instead of having to start a new game like say I'm on the second mission and a friend wants to play co-op I want to be able to allow him to take over the current partner I have with me in the game and NOT start me with a new game just continue on from where I/we left off.

Well to me, the PS3 is mostly getting the Publicity between the two so I like to see the PSP get some pubs. as well. and this is the Game to do it. But you could always connect it to your tv, that's what I'm gonna do.
