Well said. Gamers forget that it's business first, Nintendo does what it needs to do to survive, and has survived for more than 100 years. Sony right now is in danger out of the big 3 who are in the gaming industry of going bankrupt, they have already downsized their business to make ends meet which isn't good news for any business. Sony needs to put more focus on what their business was built from, which is TVs and Audio hardware(stereos and all that junk) and not gaming. Microsoft w...
Sony scoop up Nintendo? hah that's a laugh, considering that Sony had to down size its organization to make ends meet. Sony only profited from a weaker Yen when they sold their buildings in the U.S., firing 2300+ employee, letting go of an online advertising group(which was scooped up by Nintendo). There were no profits from PS3, and considering that their other products such as TV and Audio systems aren't doing to hot, Sony is in danger of sinking if their main business(which isn'...
Wii didn't have anything that PS3 and X360 had and it still won, so your point is invalid.
Based on what I read on interviews with Sonys president, and Nintendo exects, they both don't care for Console wars, these analyst and most gamers are making a war out of companies that have respect for one another and have no interest in console wars, Sony and Nintendo see each others success as their own success, where one console succeeds the other benefits. So these analyst can shove those consoles wars up their asses.
On the contrary if you played any of their games then you would know that while the games might have the same name, they are worlds apart from each other, they each provide a fresh experience.
It's actually a lot harder to maintain quality and keep the audience interested in a series that is old as Mario. Lets take a look at Metroid: Other M for example, that game was beneath the expectations of the fans of the Metroid series. If it were easy to maintain the quality of a...
want some news?
sony news: Finally profitting after 5 years of no profits only after a weaker yen, and selling some of its buildings, firing an entire division(2300+ employee fired). It's other products are failing as well just like the Vita.
Microsoft: Xbox brand has not made a profit for the company since the original xbox, the company execs see it as a distraction to their actual successful products. It's failure is pretty much covered up thanks to...
No, that is the worst move for any company.

The same thing could be said about Xbox and Sony fans, they turn their heads the other way to avoid seeing their companies problems.
Xbox never has been profitable for Microsoft, and these sales are hidden behind the success of their other products(phones, and PCs OS)
Sony never profited for 5 years until they sold off some of their buildings, got rid of an entire division of their business(that's over 2300 people fired)and at the time of selling their bui...
It has potential! Imagine a real Nintendo made Zelda game with refined Ai and polished everything, with the scale of these battles!
In Japan sales have jumped for the Wii U placing it Under the 3DS XL meaning 2nd place in the Sales charts.
That's 100k copies sold out of an estimate 175K shipped physical games. Also the total number of Digital sales are unknown. Basicly the game was in short supply, so those looking for a physical copy have a hard time finding one.
Newest Japanese sales charts show Wii U placing in 2nd only under the 3DS.
It won't happen, Nintendo has to much money.
Can't be a greater waste of time than someone bashing something they know nothing about.
