Thank you all for the info
@ darthv72 - I did hear about that where xbox becomes your own streaming device and just like you mentioned it would work as remote play but from anywhere you have access to the internet.
@ Christopher - I hope it is like PSNow where even if you don't have a ps4 you can access and stream games on PC.
@ gamingunited - I am sure it has to do more than just a good internet, but I will tell you once I switched from time warner/spectrum t...
I am looking forward to the footage and more info on the the service itself. I would have already gotten the gamepass but I don't have an xbox or a gaming laptop to run games on decent setting. So, once they release the xcloud service I am definitely going to get it because I won't need a high end pc to stream the games. Just good internet service which I got covered with Google fiber.
I did have couple of questions.
Are the games available on xcloud service going t...
@ Shadow
I know what you mean, I have a buddy of mine who plays Overwatch and every event he buys loot boxes worth 30-40 bucks. I play Overwatch too and although it is only cosmetics I haven't spent a dime on the loot boxes.
Best of luck with everything. Hope you do well.
I absolutely agree with that. We have to vote with our wallets.
@ king
Not sure why you are getting disagrees for saying MTS in AAA should never be acceptable.
Yes to all them. Fat princess was and still is amazing to play.
I have PS Now and I love the service. If I had XBox One I would buy the gamepass in a heartbeat. Once they release the streaming service (I forgot the name) I will definitely get it because I don't need a gaming laptop to stream just good internet service, which I have it covered by google fiber. I never understood the hate towards PS Now or Gamepass services because it is just another option for people. And for Xbox owners it is a no-brainer to get the gamepass especially if you use Xbox...
What I have an issue with is companies taking last gen games and selling it at full price or higher. Ex: donkey Kong tropical freeze. I think if you are going to port any games from last gen it should not cost more than $39.99. Now making games from couple of gens ago would justify them charging $59.99 because the games were not in HD and I'm sure it takes a lot more time to remake then just a remaster. So if Nintendo decides to remake ocarina of Time and give it the same treatment as FF7...
I'm a noob when it comes to tech stuff, so I have a question.
When you talk about latency, which one would have less? Wired or wireless controller?
Thanks for the info. :)
Quick question. Is it comfortable if you are wearing glasses? I wear them and have always been hesitant to buy one. I tried psvr on for like 5 minutes at best buy and was comfortable but, like I said it was for 5 mins only. Thanks in advance.
I see what you are saying but what would be a starting price for 100 hrs game? $60? Also just because a game is 100 hrs long doesn't necessarily mean the overall package is worth the full price. God of war was 25 hrs (thats how long it took me to do 100%) so does that mean it won't be worth $60? I mean i understand what you are trying to say but there are to many different variables to factor in to come up with a proper price to justify the price of a game based on the amount of hrs. ...
Agreed, too young! RIP and thank you for giving us awesome games to play.
Appreciate your response. I did read the article, and what I got from it was, that you will need Game pass to excess the exclusive games on day one like Gears and Halo, plus all of the other games on it that you can download on your console or PC but if you want to stream them you will need Xcloud. The reason why I asked the questions above was to get clarification on what I understood was correct, because it seems a bit weird to have another service to be able to stream Game Pass content on ...
You can't stream the games but only download correct? Or is that what XCloud is about. I ask because I have HP Envy x360 which clearly is not a gaming laptop so it won't be able to run games at decent settings. Or would I not have an issue if I were to run the game at the base settings. I only have a PS4 and I would definitely like to try the Game Pass on PC if my laptop is able run the games smoothly even if it is on normal/low settings.
Any info is appreciated. Th...
Lmao!
Does the XGP on PC allow streaming or download only? I ask because I don't own a high end PC to run games on quality settings. I only have a PS4 and I really like the value of XGP. I would definitely sign up if it allows streaming.
The one that gave me hard time was killing 3 people at once by making them fall from a high place. That stunt was a bitch lol. But i really enjoyed the first two infamous games. I need to play second son though.
@Mopedgames
Yes, I know the service is not going to be free. And to your point even after buying the console/pc I would still have to buy the games or get a service like gamepass. So i would still be paying for the service/games on top of the initial cost of the console/pc. But, if I just pay for the service that lets me play games without the initial cost of the console/pc, I would come out cheaper. Now, this is all an assumption because I really don't know what will b...
