Onlive is terribly slow and the graphics are crappy. Even on a very fast connection.
the co-op in R2 is a blast. R3 online is OK, but not great or terrible. I think 2 is the best.
This whole thing is quite simple. People have been on the hate Sony band wagon since the recession started. Once people have the money again to purchase Sony's products and enjoy them instead of be jealous over them all day people will move back up into everyone's hearts. Until then Sony just has to survive. Sony's LED offerings are easily the best out there. Their electronics are world class across the board. Just a bunch of cheap haters without decent jobs IMO.
WiiNES
Pii
The two I'm hoping for.
Ck1x, the PS3 has shown it's superiority time and time again. You wont see it when you play call of duty, but you will see it when you play Uncharted 3 in 3d. That said, the PS3 did have a major bottleneck. That GPU is far too slow for that CPU, and more RAM would have been nice. That said, the 360 was even slower still. And I have definitely seen rumors on the net about the next xbox being more casual and not such a big leap from xbox to xbox360. But those are just rumors. I honestly exp...
As soon as I have the money, I'm getting a Vita to play in my living room while I listen to the History channel. I can't say the same about my phone. I only really play on my phone when there is no other alternative or I forget to bring my psp. The Vita is a console anywhere I want it. That's what I want. I really don't think people who buy android or iOS devices suddenly stop playing their PS3's, 360's, Wii's, or anything else. They just ALSO add some mobile gamin...
This twisted metal is great fun online and locally. My biggest gripe is the connectivity issues. SERIOUSLY FIX THIS SH!T.
Adding rockets to gran turismo would be fun, but honestly, twisted metal is more like street fighter on wheels then a need for speed. I dont think customization is all that important to a twisted metal game. Remember twisted metal 4? lol.
It's actually very close to Twisted Metal 2. There is a level that has the canals like LA: Quake Zone Rumble that's pretty interesting. There are lots of places to explore in the levels and they are very fun. I would say the biggest change for me to adjust to is the speed. Twisted Metal PS3 feels WAY faster than TM2. Another change is that steering is done with the analog stick and your "combo" moves are no longer combos. They're just the D-Pad buttons. There is still th...
The races are frustrating. But it does kind of change things up for variety's sake. As for the specials, I mostly agree. I miss Mr. Slam, Spectre, Twister, Shadow, etc. However, when you use the Alt. Special (Triangle button then R2) the special weapon is more unique and a lot more fun. Transforming into a mech clown and tossing my head at people looks so amazing and is fun. I really like Junkyard Dog's alt special as well. It's like Shadow's.
I love the electric cage matches. The hardest thing for me so far is the "races". The race with Mr. Grimm's story line had me frustrated because IMO the gates are hard to see at times. I wish they had two pillars instead of one so you could tell if you were under them or not. Also, dual juggernauts can be rough if you're not expecting it.
kinda still pissed MW3 doesnt support 3d when BO does...wtf.
going with LBP is definitely the better choice. MNR is a very fun game, but it doesnt have the freedom the LBP games feature. People will know what to expect and actually get what they expect with a LBP racer.
900k is a moderate success, not a failure. The PSP version was awful, I'll give you that. MNR's biggest problem in my opinion is the load times. I think a lot of people who got the game got tired of it taking so long to get started every time. It's a pretty big barrier. I think the LBP: Karts will be a much better game however. Mainly because there will be infinite game modes to create, etc. not just karts and tracks.
I've had horrible experiences with LG and Samsung electronics lately. If I change the TV in my living room, its going to be a Panasonic or Sharp, possibly a very large DLP(those are 3d ready and produce better 3d than most flat panels).
"You would need magnifying glass to see the difference between 720p and 1080p on such a small screen. "
this is actually a good thing to some, Considering the native resolutions of todays "HD" console games...
TV. 3D girlfriends FTW.
It all depends on how close you sit. I would be totally fine playing games on a 24inch. But they would have to be pretty close to my face.
I take it you havent played any games in 3d. They looks breathtaking. I play on a 100inch HD 3D projector with DLP Link glasses. Amazing. its a far better 3D experience than the theater.
because the people that didnt play it didnt like it. I had a blast with it.
