I don't know... people seem to enjoy playing Skyrim
I just hope it doesn't buckle under the weight of all the many things it is trying to do. Could be awesome, if well executed
I, for one, am glad to see consoles and PC at a more equal footing. I can only imagine this will make it easier for developers to optimize production and deliver better games all around (at least in terms of graphics)
Can't wait to put my hands on th... oh wait, I just own a PC =|
I hope some years down the line somebody writes a postmortem about this game. It will be a very interesting read.
And also the Humble Bundle https://www.humblebundle.co...
After being afraid that TW3 was starting to be overhyped, I'm just glad this has been one good example of massive AAA project delivering. It's a statement to its quality that the worst gripe people can have is "it looked better a couple of years ago". And even then, the developers have been forthcoming enough to say it was their mistake/lack of open world experience that made them think those graphics would be possible
@kevnb I think a lot of the heat towards Steam is specifically a perceived change in the marketing role it plays. In its current state, Steam might be even detrimental to smaller games in terms of exposure, thus there is a sense that 30% do not provide the same value as some years ago
