Just preordered after seeing the reviews. I loved the Demo but you never know....Square Enix deserves praise for this release.
Microsoft: We have $70 billion to buy ACTIVISION.
Also Microsoft: we don't have the resources to fix our flagship IP.
Lol.....basically "they just need to overpromise because gamers have short memory".
Scalebound, Crackdown 3, Halo Infinite....very few IPs have survived Microsoft corporate structure (Forza is surprisingly consistent).
When will we get Perfect Dark, Fable, Everwild, etc?
PS5 already has God Of War Ragnarok, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, Miles Morales and soon Spiderman 2.....also timed exclusives like FF16 and FFVII.....not to...
Their executives sure talk a lot...
And it is supposed to release next year? Sounds like another RedFall....
The problem is not announcing titles, the issue is releasing them (and meeting expectations).
Scalebound looked awesome, so did RedFall at some point....Fable is far off, Everwild is MIA and so is Perfect Dark....Halo Infonite was medicore.
The Series X/S have been out for 3 years. How many AAA Microsoft titles have been released?
"Starfield isn’t going to be judged by the quality of its facial animations or the thrust of its main story".
Yikes. And God forbid you mention the 30fps negatively because YOU are being irrational 🙄
The game isn't even out and I see nothing but people trying to manage expectations....
Will it though? Let's wait for it to be released 🤷♂️ and it's not like missing out on Tears of the Kingdom.
I have a Series S with Gamepass so I will check it, but I don't feel like it's gonna revolutionize civilization....
Lol....we have been here for at least a decade. Microsoft can hype projects just fine...actually releasing high quality titles is the issue.
A few months ago nobody doubted RedFall 🤷♂️
Sony has also really changed over the years and now they announce titles much closer to release. Back then games like The Last Guardian, FF Versus 13, etc. would go missing for YEARS....
The horrors! If this is blocked Microsoft might have to use its unlimited resources to make their own quality titles 😱
Coming from the company that kept hyping both, the Series X and the power of the cloud....
It looks like a focus group turned into a game 😅 I'm surprised there's no dinosaurs.
They had a 45 minute video but casually forgot to mention that 😅
What are they doing? If one game had potential to release this year was this....
Not even a release window? This is faaaaaaar off. And I guess the no CGI trailer means in-game rendered trailers 🙄 where's the actual gameplay?
Curious to see how many of these games ACTUALLY release next year given Microsoft's track record .....
I think this is cool. That ridiculous stereotype (mostly in the west) that games are for men needs to go.
I remember my first Japanese teacher was obsessed with FF and Dragon Quest and I was shocked 😅 most of my friends only played super casual games but she was casually playing epic, deep RPGs.
Most of my female friends now play many genres (APEX, God of War, etc)....not just cute, girly games 🙄
Just got mine and so far I am really impressed. I owned the original headset and the set-up was a mess. This is a lot more elegant and impressive.
Hope we get more exclusives in the near future but I am also happy just getting very good versions of multiplatform VR titles.
They need to actually release the games and get decent reviews.
I love comparing this kind of review with other reviews on the site..... They gave Lego 2K drive the same score 🙄🤣
Ok.....
