I agree with your train of thought, Loco's. My problem really is Call of Duty. :( I've built up friends and such on live, that it would be hard to just drop all that. But if this one fails, then it'll make the decision for me.
Loco's I essentially bought 2, the original and the last one which was a jasper. I also have a ps3, so i'm not really biased. I find both consoles have merits and flaws. As for supporting them, no I will not buy another 360 this lifetime.
Of 7 xbox360's since launch, 4 RRoD's, 1 E74, 1 drive died and of course a jasper now. The only redesign they should come with is a refrigerator whereas you can put the console in it, while its on.

Xbox or PS3, this gen is a huge step up over last. IMO. I own all 3 systems and its nice to see the companies roll out new features.
Now I just wish that insomniac would patch Resistance and Ratchet with some trophies. :)
MS needs to not care about the color, but the innards and reliability. I find myself using my 160 gig ps3 more and more now....all I need are my COD buddies who use xbox live to goto the ps3 and i'll be finished. Either way, when this 7th craps itself, i'll throw in the towel. :(

As a 360 owner, who's played thru this twice. You ps3 peeps are in for a serious treat. The ambience and art bioshock displays is fantastic.
