About damn time...
That has to be one of the lamest excuses I have ever seen...
World of Starcraft? Unlikely for me.
World of Vikings? Highly unlikely.
Diablo MMO? Seems like a waste to make D3 then.
So a new franchise seems possible, very interesting indeed.
The art people over at Blizzard have done a wonderful job with the map art.
Never liked the Mothership to be honest, I hope they leave it for single player and add something else for online play.
Well, they want to make SC2 just as good if not better than SC as an e-sport so they do need (I believe) feedback from the community.
Diablo 3 is not in the same situation so I don't think they would follow the same method. However, I agree that there has not been that much info on the game (even if I do not care much about D3). They probably do not have things ready for show yet (either that or they are still suffering from the trauma they suffered when the game was unveiled to ...
Kudos to Troglodyte for keeping up with the changes, I do not think I would be able to do the same.
Very nice artwork indeed. Wonder what kind of complaints there will be this time around.
At best we should see a beta in the first quarter of 2009 and not the full game itself.
"Spite the fans"? People are getting really paranoid these days...
I think people are making too much of a fuss about this...
I meant the interviews, guess I should have been more specific.
The people at Blizzard have loads of patience stored in them! I do not know if I would be able to do so many things at once!
If we go by his reasoning that the Wizard would not be liked since it was similar/familiar then this new character that every one will love will probably be very different from the Diablo classes we know.
Or he just changed his mind on how people are going to react, maybe it could be a copy-paste character from a previous Diablo game.
I love watching these panels, be it art, gameplay or lore.
I did not understand this paragraph very well:
"Working like expansions, you'll need all three box sets allowing you to access the full universe and play online with other gamers."
To me it gives the impression that you will need all three to be able to play online. It makes absolutely no sense for it be like that so I think it was a slip up on IncGamers part rather than a (IMO foolish) Blizzard policy.
Thank goodness it is not going to the consoles. I dislike the 'consolization' (try saying that three times fast) trend that we are seeing recently, possibly motivated by the constant hammering that 'PC gaming is in decline'.
I find the criticism to be unfounded, we will not pay 150 dollars for an SC1-like campaign, the quality and quantity of content is on a completely different level.
Besides, from what I heard the content of the other boxes will be single-player only, so those that care only about the multi-player part will have no trouble with it. Also, I do no believe that Blizzard will charge the same amount of money for the "expansions" as for the first package.
Wow, I did not think we would get something like that so soon after the reveal of the Wizard.
Rather sad that there are no more general chat channels anymore.
