IGN is just not what it used to be. It has other objectives, other goals.
At one time, I went to IGN to always catch the latest in gaming news, exclusive announcements, exclusive reviews, inside information, and best of all, unbiased reviews.

If Square Enix chose Leona Lewis' song for the english version of the game, it should've been for a reason. The song does match the general FF feel, and probably fits good into the game. Do not forget that if Square Enix would've wanted to use the japanese song for the game, they could have...I mean, they have done it before (FFX). They've done translations almost every other time. What's wrong with trying something different?.

IGN is one of the best videogame websites out there, does it have flaws?....sure it does, but let me tell you, I usually trust (with some exceptions) the reviews IGN gives...and I usually agree to some extent. Maybe not on the overall score, but I do agree with it.
The WORST videogame website is without a doubt Gamespot, I think it's even worse than Sony Defense Force. It's definetly the worst site.

Well man, I'm just talking about the facts. UK is not the rest of the world with the exception of America, and I'm sure you don't know everyone in the UK. These are the facts:
- PS3 is outselling the 360 in Europe. And in some countries, it's even outselling the Wii. Want me to name a country?. Spain.
- PS3 is outselling the 360 in Japan by a wide margin.
This means that if these facts are any indication, raises should rise when the game is out. Am I sure?...
MS is only talking about what they can talk...America. Everywhere, except in America; the PS3 version will outsell the 360 version, just like the PS3 itself is outselling the 360 everywhere, with the exception of America.

It doesn't matter on which console the games are, but the fact that the games are there. Sadly I don't own a 360 so I missed some of them, specially Mass Effect...damn I wanted to play that game.
Awesome video, I just think you should've added a few more clips from Uncharted, which, in my opinion, is the best game available on PS3 so far. Besides that, the video is awesome. Great job.
Well I live in Latin America and I can say it's not illegal, it's just not supported by Sony. It must be the same for Sony Venezuela, they bring HDTVs (Their Bravias and other series of HDTVs and standard TVs), the Walkman branch, their "Sony Ericsson" phones and alot of their other stuff, however they do not bring the PS3 over to Latin America. This means PS3's over here do not have warranty, you cannot take it to "Sony" and ask them to fix it or change it; Sony Latin Ame...
It's incredible how people think...well, don't think actually. I mean, Blu-Ray sells better than HD-DVD, which means they probably stock more BR than HD-DVD. Now, when is that a reason to claim HD-DVD is doing better than BR??.
Oh, and it's really lame how this kind of stories are getting approved, I mean this isn't even news...is the experience of one person when going to buy a movie. LAME LAME LAME!. C'mon, what kind of news post is this?!?.

First of all, Sony has not said anything like "it is not exclusive to the PS3". They said "exclusivity is under discussion". As for Square Enix, they stated that "Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII (not FFXIII itself, but the Crystallis saga) is not PS3 and Mobile exclusive", something they have said right from the start.
I would really like if people just wouldn't change what they actually hear, to what they want to hear...
First of all, yes it was a bad promotion stunt, however; all of you (and that includes the main poster with it's title) got the wrong idea: Sony didn't kill the goat for the promotional campaign. They bought it (already dead) from a butcher, and cut it out a little bit so the blood dripped all over the floor. Sick?, oh yes, but if the PR company in charge hadn't bought the goat, it would be dead either way, and some greek family would be eating it right now...(or using some cloth made with it...
The demo is out in Japan. In fact, it was never mentioned if it was coming out in USA, I just hope it will. Does anyone with a Non-Japanese account see it on the site?.

Okey, now why lie?. Motomu Toriyama clearly stated that the "Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII", which consists of MANY GAMES, is not exclusive to PS3 and mobile. What does THAT mean?, well; it means that there might be new games with the "Final Fantasy XIII" name that will be for other consoles. In case you don't know, by the way; all the games in the project have "Final Fantasy XIII" in their names. He NEVER even implied that the actual Final Fantasy XI...
Back at last year's E3, they clearly stated that Fabula Nova Crystallis was not going to be just 3 titles. They also said there might be much more than just "games". HE could refer to anything, because if they make a movie, then it's not "exclusive" to PS3 and Mobile either. If they make a PSP or DS game, it's not exclusive to those two either.

Well, this is not much news. I mean I know it's open, but I can't get pass the damn validation. I enter the date, and it keeps giving me a "MAC Validation Failed" error.
UPDATE: Well, suddenly it got passed the validation...and I entered the same old site, with the same old counter. Now it's up to 1 day again. Don't get it. If you know, you could at least mention what it's inside the website.
Nomura has said that the Kingdom Hearts Team will be the one to develop Final Fantasy Versus XIII for the PS3, which means that they probably won't be working on a new project besides Versus in the near future. Either way, Nomura also said that the next Kingdom Hearts won't be numbered and that will probably not be a direct sequel (mainly because Sora and Riku may not appear on it).
This could also mean that the team behind it won't be the KH team, so he won't continue the main...
Well, it's of no consequence for the PS3 as a console. The machine (or Sony) has nothing to do with poorly ported games. That's entirely the creator's fault.
In fact, you could simply look for "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2". The game was HORRIBLE on PC, and it was just passable on XBox; yet it was spectacular on PS2. It's not the console, it's the game.

I take these articles for what they are: Funny stuff. I read, I laugh, and I know that they just base the article on real stuff...but take everything off-limits and overreact on anything they say.
