There was a drought? I've been playing ARMS and Splatoon 2 for weeks.
ARMS is better than anything released on the the PS4 or XboxOne in the first year. Seriously it's one of the best fighting games I've ever played. And yes I own all 3 major consoles. If you haven't picked up a Switch yet, it's worth it just for ARMS.
My iPhone cost $800. Switch cost $300. You get what you pay for. But only the Switch offers a full gaming experience, and for the price it easily outperforms my iPhone when it comes to games.
I wish it was coming to Switch; I'd much rather play it there. But if it's only coming to PS4 then that's where I'll play it.

I own a PS4, XBoxOneS, and a Switch, and I can say for certain that I very much appreciate and use XBox's backward compatibility. It's one of the best features of the system, and the fact that it's not a feature at all on the PS4 is one of that console's worst features.
It's especially irritating to see digital games I bought on PS3 in PSNow, but I can't play them unless I rent them, even though it says next to every game I own "purchased"....
As someone who owns a PS4, XBoxOne, and Switch, I couldn't agree more with this article. I'm planning to buy all multiplat games for the Switch.
If they expect me to buy this game it needs to come to Switch. Won't touch it on my PS4 or XBoxOne, but would gladly check it out on Switch. Developers need to learn this lesson; if you want your games to sell put them on the Switch.

I just bought NBA Playgrounds for Switch instead of the other 2 consoles, and I will continued to do the same for future games. Being able to play anywhere anytime makes this decision easy. Table top mode is fantastic, handheld is cool, and TV mode feels like a full console experience. A slight hit in the graphics is a worthy trade off for the versatility of the Switch...
Western games tend to focus on entertainment; Japanese games focus on joy.
I personally loved Far Cry Primal, so a western version would prob be really good. Would be even better if it came to Nintendo Switch, would buy it in a heartbeat on that system.
How anyone can try to belittle the Switch is beyond me. Playing console games anywhere anytime is amazing. I spent 2 hours in the laundry mat today washing clothes and playing Mario Kart 8 in table top mode. Doesn't get any better than that. Hope lots of games eventually come to the Switch.

It's already happening; I purchased Snake Pass, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and all of the Neo Geo titles for my Switch instead of the other 2 consoles. As bigger games are released I will continue to choose the Switch version first.

Don't forget all the weed you need to buy to get stoned while you play these games. That's actually a huge hidden expense.
