I like it. My favorite live-action trailer game tie-in was Halo 3's that showed what went down on Earth before Master Chief arrived, it had a real epic feel to it. :)

I really hope fans don't dismiss Revelations just because it's not on a console, unless of course you don't have/want a 3DS heh. There's a reason why Famitsu gave it an almost-perfect score, it is THAT good! :)
I'm totally guessing here, but I imagine they are hoping fans will pick up the 3DS Circle Pad Pro at the same time now that the game itself is cheaper.
I've been playing the game (early release in Europe) for the past day now and the absolute best way to play it is with dual-analog sticks! It's so convient that it makes it a must-buy with Revelations in my opinion. :)

Every two years when a new Gears of War comes out I have this habit to sit down with a friend, grab two controllers and loads of snacks, and play all weekend until we beat the campaign. But it's just not enough, so having campaign DLC is perfect for us to jump in again, I hope they'll keep making more DLC until Gears of War 4 comes out. :)

I like the idea of a female lead, but fans would never stand for it in GTA. They should just make in an option for the player to decide if the lead is male/female like in the Mass Effect games. But in GTA the stories are written around the male leads so I don't know if that would work well.
While everyone waits for GTA 5, luckily in the meantime we can play Saints Row 3 where using the character creator you can make your own female character with to play as.
Can someone please explain to me why the first Metal Gear Solid game is missing from this collection?
I remember it being remade with better graphics (may not be HD but still better than the original) on GameCube, called Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. So why not just use that version and upscale that for completionists sake?

Having played through the previous games I have but one thing to say. Considering how incredibly bland and boring Resistance 2's campaign was, I'm surprised anyone anyone still wanted the sequel.
That said, reviews have been ok to good for Resistance 3, so I'm definitely picking it up when it hits the budget section. It's a Sony PS3 exclusive after all. :)
Although the cutscenes are removed from the videos and descriptions, definitely don't watch if you want to enjoy everything yourself the first time. It's meant to help those who get stuck when they get the game at midnight.

I think this is great news for smaller developers who might otherwise run out of money. If they can make a really fun online multiplayer mode that gamers love to play, then I don't think they would mind seeing some ads in the lobby or in contextually correct spots of the game.
I don't know if people here find ads in games annoying? But I've only seen it along the road in Burnout Paradise, and as actual part of the game with Chiquita bananas in Super Money Ball of ...
For an analyst Pachter sure never ever seems to take into account the fact that over the past 8 years Nintendo has made billions of profit (not revenue, profit) whereas Sony and Microsoft have been trying to break even on the billions they invested in the past 1-2 console generations.
Disclaimer: I own all consoles, love them all equally. I just don't understand why everyone always hates on Nintendo just because they aren't for everyone, doesn't make their games a...
