It won't by any different on ps3.... it will be the exact game whether you're sitting in a computer chair or couch.
Sim City anyone? Imagine buying the new xbox and not being able to play it for the first couple days due to network demand.
Um, I need to know how it looks like so I can buy matching furniture. Duh!
Its not a scam. When you purchase a game you don't buy a 'license' for it you only pay for the copy of that game. You can't 'own' a game, you only own the copy that you purchase.
Valve has a lot of smart and talented people working for them. I'm sure they don't need any advice from anyone.
Lol, I don't get why its an issue. Why did Kobe Bryant do a commercial for an airline? Its marketing... it doesn't have to make sense as long as it gets people's attention which it obviously did.
durango is a state in mexico - thats a strange code name
Um, Cliffy B. is an awesome programmer himself. How do you think he got a job in the first place? He's been doing this since his teens.
Don't play the companies, blame the consumers. They are only providing what consumers want, new tech at cheap prices.
i think of an addiction as a self-destructive, consuming habit. Where the only result of the habits are negative effects. So, I would not call a pro-gamer who is making a decent living by being a dedicated gamer an addict. Now, someone who is a student and chooses video games over their school work and as a result his or her grades suffer because of it should be considered an addict. Same goes for someone who chooses video games over a job or social life.
As much as I would like to see HL3, I would much rather play a new IP with new gameplay concepts instead of another fps.
Nope, just a small issue and a site saying things without any real info.
These rules have always been in place. Someone just happened to read the small print.
*Edit*
really, you're trying to run this into a pc vs. console argument?
I didn't know consoles were free of hackers, griefers, trolls, and exploiters. Thanks for the info!
Sony will most likely lose this one. Even if they do have Non-compete contract agreement it is almost impossible to uphold. Another real world example would be the 'American Chopper' ordeal. Paul Sr. sued his son because Jr. started his own company and also hired/stole one of Paul Sr.'s employees that handled his business. Which is obviously a clear cut violation of a Non-compete agreement. Paul Sr. eventually lost the lawsuit or 'settled.'
The only...
The game works fine. I've played since day 1 without a problem. A lot of the people complaining, I'm sure have already put 40+ hours into the game. If you come across a bug and can't finish a quest, guess what? Move on to another quest, the game has plenty of them to choose from. Anyone who has every played mmo's or huge open-world games like skyrim come to expect this. The game has plenty of content to where you shouldn't get frustrated over a minor glitch. the ps3'...
LOL at you guys acting like you've developed a game of this magnitude and what the QA process is like.
Infinity Ward had already admitted that they had started developing these maps before the release. I understand getting to the end of development and not having enough time to include everything you wanted but, these maps were planned as DLC since the beginning. Then again, no one is forcing you to buy it.
yeah, it will be the exact same game... it'll just be a port.
