We learned that MS is extremely desperate. They are less and less relevant, and plan on offsetting the cost of acquisition of the industry by placing their games on other platforms while lecturing others about making exclusive games.
We also learned that MS is one step closer to making Xbox a service as opposed to a console.

This whole thing is also designed to generate hype about Xbox games on PlayStation. Then they get to do exactly what they did with Elder Scrowl, first make people think it’s coming to other platforms, then keep it on Xbox to get people to bite the bullet and buy a Xbox. Desperate measures, but when they are this irrelevant, they don’t have much to lose.
Nobody asked for MS to bring their games, MS is asking that they release their games on PlayStation. Partly because MS desperate to generate interest in their games. Let’s face it, Xbox is not in a good position.
