I bought my Genesis from Toys 4 Joy in Clifton Park NY. I remember plugging my headphones into that 'stereo' port and I played Altered Beast into the wee hours of the morning. GOOD TIMES!
Love this game, just wish I knew some folks that I could play ad-hoc/PS3 connection with.
It should, because I am not going to pay 50$ again for a service that only provides MP connectivity for games that are now looking long in the tooth in terms of graphics. I am playing more PS3 games and I was able to recently upgrade my PC so pretty much everything looks better on my PC. M$ should either go free or cut that yearly fee in half. However like Jashmister just said, it won't happen.
Good lord I hate this Xbox Exclusive stuff. Not to mention companies that give perks to Xbox over PS3 instead of just being on a level playing field.
Why are we concerned about the UK's pre-orders. What are the US pre-orders like at this point?
Agreed, pure hate for this game and it's shortcomings. It was just a greedy payday for IW. I am glad they were pushed from the company.
You will not be getting a call anytime soon then. Because the way 3D works is by having those color based shifted images offset to have the glasses then provide a focus while the distance between your left eye and right eye get that generated off screen effect.
3D is YET another fad that will die out in roughly 18 to 24mths or so. Remember 1983?
I am really past all of this now. Any Neo-Geo and or TG-16 game I really wanted I ended up going with a emulator version of to enjoy. I do feel that I will pay for certain games to keep some cash flowing into the effort, but it's a bit late to the party.
I am STILL fighting that big SOB! He is the bane of my existence!
Good, because companies need to earn additional revenue from games to pay developers their perks/bonuses. As many people as I see commenting on here about saying EA sucks, miss the whole point that it's not just EA itself that is trying to whore money. This type of income has been making game companies cash, hand over fist. It's high time at this stage in the game where there is a compromise in this principal. Used sale game prices should be lower (for newer titles) which will pro...
Girls play games, and they have for years. It's just much more 'popular' now because of pictures, video, etc etc. BIG deal, just play your game and have fun with the crowd you are playing with.
This is a rather easy question to answer. Because more and more people rent games instead of buying them. Also, alot of gamers wait and buy used copies of the game. The current main economic footprint for game purchases lean heavy towards re-sale and rental markets.
Too little too late. They really messed things up with the whole 'civil war' story mixing good/bad guys together. And then their standpoint on having all versions of the game having the same unlockable characters where in fact they didn't follow through with that either. This game was really a mess in many regards and was nowhere nears the caliber of the first title.
My hate for Modern Warfare 2 was ONLY because both console versions 360/PS3 only had a native resolution render of 576p that was then unscaled into the 720p. This was so they could maintain a smooth 60fps while playing. The game really really looks like crap and long in the tooth on the consoles. The PC version is much nicer but still has signs of age in the engine, but can be forgiven because the MP structure was solid for a run and gun experience.
All 360 articles should stop being published.
Are these re-rendered shots or native resolution output images??????.... Yeah I thought so, nice bait and switch M$, you can keep your game.
No way I am getting caught in another version of the 360 (previous one's being better/newer boards and cpu's) it's a flawed hardware console for which I suffered 6 RROD's over two separate consoles before I finally gave up. I'll stick with my launch PS3 that is still rocking and rolling.
I'm tired of PC to console comparisons. PC's run games at higher resolutions on the norm versus what the console is able to produce from it's native engine render which then is stretched to either a 720p display or 1080p display. Lame article in my book.
If it's max'd out why the low-res images? Why not have larger screen-shots of native resolutions to really see how it looks. I agree with SOAD's comment, It doesn't really look that good to me. Almost like a slightly better looking 'Killing Floor'.
It's starting to look cooler to me. Doubt I am going to pay 60$US for it, but when the price is lower, I'll check it out for sure then.
