It took about a month to create. Most was made during the first week of starting it, but then I lost motivation due to other things such as work/training taking up a lot of my time. When the psn was down, I only spent a few hours creating on the weekends.

Dont just be lazy and rely on successful past games. Ignore marketing and do something new. Sure they may say, make a new Mario, Zelda, star fox etc. they always sells well. Sure that may be the case but they need to start creating more new ips as good as little big planet or valves portal games. Bring new types of gameplay that haven’t even been thought of without any gimmicks involved. Sega have been recycling sonic for 20 years and I have no respect for them. Lbp2 is everything we wanted to be added after playing lbp1. The limitations of the first have been removed with the new functions. If you ever wanted to try creating you own levels or just playing the millions of levels that will be published, then lbp2 for you.

Lighting need work and the character models are unrealistic, but its not bad. Is this coming out on PS3? In term of graphics, Uncharted 3 will blow this away.

Its possible to create this type of level in lbp1. Its been done already. Movers and the new cameras make it much easier though. It wont be possible to create a fully working first person shooter, but simple up/ down, left/right gallery shooters are possible.

After creating many levels in lbp1, im now very interested and determined to become a professional games designer. During my teen years I was very keen on bodybuilding, so decided to go into fitness instructing, but after realising im actualy very creative beyond what I ever though possible im now confident in what I can do. The work ive done in lbp1 Has been massivly sucessful and even got me noticed by media molecule. Having this as part of a portfolio will help a lot.
