real bruh moment
I much more identify with characters who have their own personality. Having a blank slate character is pretty much the death of character development as well.
This is exactly what I mean lol
THANK YOU
Game Freak def needs to experiment more with gameplay options and mechanics. The whole dynamax things is so similar to mega evolution. Do something different besides Pokemon transforming. But if they do try new things, it's just removed when the next game comes out. If they combined ideas and mechanics from all the games, it would be great!
I think a game that has a silent protagonist that would benefit from them talking is Fire Emblem Three Houses. In some of the cutscenes, it's really off putting when they don't speak and kind of ruins it. I think a discussion should be had whether or not it would be better if Link talked in TLOZ
Hell yea!
There's nothing more I want than Farming Simulator ;)
How is this one of the most challenging games in the series when you can turn back time more than 10 times and constantly train your units in auxiliary battles? Plus a lot of the new comers are playing on casual mode so the only people who would be playing these harder difficulties are veteran players. Just a strange statement.
look at the comment below
This is very true. There are already so many great characters, the game is damn good.
lmfao, I'm the author and the article is satirical
I'm the author, the article was a joke piece
whew, that is not being objective lol
Not true, someone can like the gameplay but not like or care about the story
I tried to be as objective as possible. I don't think side-quests always detract from games, I just think Skyrim handled them poorly because so many of the side quests are not memorable and neither are the characters. I agree that side-quests can mirror life, but I think if we compare real life type side quests to video game side-quests, the side quests in rel life are a lot more meaningful
I just think the story in current AC games takes a huge backseat and it shows. I think there is an interesting conversation to be had about whether those Netflix choose your own adventure movies are more games than movies
Thank you for not reading the article and then commenting!
I don't understand why people are saying this is click bait when the title of the article is literally the premise of the entire article. I made that title to be straight forward about what I'm writing about. I'm not going to make the title "Most video game stories are bad but a select few are pretty good"
Yes please!
