I forgot about that part where every new technology other than the switch worked flawlessly at launch.....oh wait....that's right....nothing is flawless at launch.
Why would you need the PS4 when you have a PC?
To be fair, if you darkened the pictures a bit and added some fog/blur effect, the difference wouldn't be that noticeable. Plus most companies showoff a game at E3 at the max setting on PC so of course it isn't going to look the same on the PS4 or XBONE. Both consoles simply don't have the power of a high-end PC and won't be able to run the same graphics options as one. IMO the true question is whether the graphics we saw at E3 will be available for PC users, if so they truly ...
Guys can we not get this one...please. You know if we all stopped buying their crap they might actually try next year...
Yes please....
I can get this experience in Dark Souls II which is still pushing out new content. Honestly the only appeal this game has, in my opinion, is that it is exclusive to PS4. There is hardly any new ideas, concepts, or gameplay and anyone who had love for this particular genre would be content with the new content for Dark Souls II, and is probably still running through Demon Souls, and Dark Souls I. As an avid Souls fan, this is nothing new or exciting and the only hype that I am seeing is those ...
Weird, could have sworn i read the same thing about this year...
Grammar no work like that.
I find it funny that he says that because he only has one...
I agree, plus we already know how it ends.
Oh man that is too much for me I am going to have to go to 30 fps just to stay sane. haha ;D
Here is what most people are missing here. When Ubisoft makes an E3 gameplay video of a game in development, they are only showing off a small part of the world on a ridiculously good computer. This means amazing graphics with a great FPS. However, as the game expands into the full open world game, it becomes harder and harder for Ubisoft to keep the game at 60FPS with the extremely good graphics. As a result they must either sacrifice graphics or frame rate. More than not they will choose g...
I'm sorry but hahahahaha what are you talking about? Microsoft is among the strongest companies in the world. 90% of the computers in the world use Microsoft operating systems and 20% of those are Windows 8, which is expanding quicker than windows 7. Although the surface is no iPad, MS has still raked in over 1billion in sales on the surface alone in the last 6 months. In addition, MS stocks are continuing to rise and are the highest they have been in 5 years at just over 40. This a sharp...
And other companies haven't? It's common business practice, try to take over the market and make more money. There isn't a single major company out there that doesn't follow this basic business principle.
NO, no it is not, and that's a damn shame.
This is obvious when you look at HD remakes of titles. If gameplay was the center of attention there would be no HD remakes, you would play the original.
Oh and Great review by the way. I have read a few of yours now and I think they are very well done.
As much as I loved this game, I just couldn't get past the clunky controls. The whole time I fumbled through the controller trying to recall which buttons did what. I didn't have this issue with Uncharted, but it was a continuing problem with TLOU. I do understand this may have been an issue that only a select group of people had, but I still feel like it hindered gameplay.
Yes
Doesn't make it a bad game.
I wouldn't mind it personally as long as the money saved from the loss of production was reflected on the consumer (it seems many share this belief). If companies didn't have to pay to make the case, put data on the physical disk, ship the copies to retailers, and pay people along the way to do it, they may save a pretty penny. This could result in cheaper games. At the same time I could just as easily see companies keeping the prices at $60 (USD) and pocketing the funds.
