I'm sure they will. Then they'll produce just a small number of them so they are worth $300+ on Ebay before discontinuing it a few months later.

"This thing is much more popular than we thought? We're making a killing at $60 each? Stop production immediately!!!"

What about FH2 & Forza 6? There's plenty of Forza to play now while you wait for FH3.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 is an amazing racing game. Definitely worthy of a mention as one of the best PS2 games of all time.

I think Xbox 360 was more like Sega Genesis than Xbox One is.

-Genesis was facing a competitor (Nintendo) who had dominated the previous generation, just like 360.

-360 was #1 in the U.S., just like Genesis.

-360 was strong, but not #1 in Europe, just like Genesis/Mega Drive.

-360 had virtually no presence in Japan, just like Genesis/Mega Drive.

-360 launched earlier than it's competition, just like Genes...

Disney games for the Genesis could be considered their own genre outside of other platformers.

Aladdin, Lion King (though it's multi-platform), Castle of Illusion, World of Illusion & Quackshot are all top notch games that still hold up very well today.

Just forget that Fantasia exists.

PSVR IS a gimmick until it's proven otherwise. Gaming history has taught us that add-ons are rarely successful, despite the PR talk such as how many developers are working on how many games.

Sony fans may hail PSVR as different than previous accessories because they want to believe it will be successful, and that success will give them more ammunition in the fanboy wars, but history has proven that add-ons are gimmicks.

Just because it's for PS4 doe...

PS1 didn't face the level of competition that MS faced when they started. When PS1 was in it's early years, Nintendo was stubbornly sticking to cartridges, and Sega had made numerous mistakes like 32X and choosing a difficult-to-program-for chipset for Saturn that made it appear inferior.

Sony came into the market at exactly the right time, and the struggles of Sega and Nintendo helped PS1 become what it is.

Not to take anything away from Sony, as the PS1 was a great console, but Sony came into gaming at a time unlike any other. While both Nintendo & Sega were strong players, both were making mistakes that would prove costly. Sony was in the right place at the right time.

When MS entered the market, Sony was dominant like neither Nintendo or Sega was when Sony started.

It's a credit to MS that they've come so far facing greater competition than So...

Any way you try to spin it, Windows IS a MS platform. While MS doesn't make PC's, ONLY a PC with Windows will play MS games. Therefore, a PC with Windows is a MS platform. Only people who want to win the "my list of games is bigger than yours" game will deny it.

You haven't proven anything except the FACT that Sony fanboys (especially here on N4G) will say ANYTHING to make their console seem superior.

Your line about the "unfortun...

"Leaving just QB as the only BIG Xbox game for the first four months where Sony has R&C, MLB, and UC4"

When did MLB become a PS4 exclusive? MLB 15 was on THREE platforms (PS3, PS4 & Vita), and I'm quite certain you won't need a PS4 to play MLB 16.

You go out of your way to minimize Xbox one games that are scheduled to appear on another MS platfor...

"Or atleast they kick started it. Unlike Nintendo..."

You don't know your history.

In 1984 console gaming was totally DEAD in the U.S., however Nintendo's Famicom was doing well in Japan. Retailers wanted nothing to do with video games after the crash of 1983.

Despite this, Nintendo still believed gaming could make a comeback. They took it upon themselves to market the NES , and though it was a slow start, Nintendo was rig...

According to Sony's own numbers, PS2 sold 18+ million in year 3, 22 million in year 4, and 20 million in year 5. That's where a huge chunk of the 150+ million came from.

PS4 may have matched PS2 for years 1 and 2, but to expect 22+ million sales for PS4 in any of the next 3 years is quite optimistic.

Remember, PS2 really had no competition after year 3. Xbox and Gamecube each ended up at less than 25 million. The combination of Xbox One and Wii U i...

Of course they do. That way the so-called gamers around here can play "my list is bigger than yours" (see 1.5).

Also last gen, Xbox 360 fans were ridiculed for talking about the numerous indie games for the 360. Now it's perfectly OK for PS4 fans to bolster their lists with indie and niche games (see below).

Before Playstation came along, gaming was a huge business. Hollywood was already stepping in to get a piece of the action with movies based on popular games such as Super Mario Bros., Mortal Kombat & Street Fighter, as well as numerous cartoon series like Sonic the Hedgehog, not to mention spin-offs like comic books.

Game licensing became huge in the early 1990's, and some of the biggest players in Hollywood opened game studios, like Disney, Virgin and Sony (before t...

There's a big difference between technological standards like HDTV or Bluetooth, and a gaming accessory like VR.

History has proven that add-ons for gaming systems have rarely been successful for the long term - PS Move & Kinect for example.

Exactly. Sega of Japan forced Sega of America to pull the plug prematurely on the Genesis, even though Genesis remained popular in the U.S. into the late 90's. Sega could have made a ton of profit from Genesis that would have offset some of the losses from Saturn.

Plus, SOA wanted to use the chipset that eventually became the N64 instead of the complex one that was ultimately used in the Saturn.

Color vector graphics always looked good, especially in Star Wars.

The flight yoke controller is what really made the game special.

There's actually a Gamecube version of this game, emulated from the original coin-op. It was included on a preview disc for Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike.
