Maybe not. But it looks as if Zelda are changing a lot. If Pokemon were to change their style the key would be to keep a few key aspects.
It's interesting that Nintendo have announced that the NX will have a new Pokemon game. Hopefully it's an RPG style game and not just a Pokemon Stadium-like game for Sun and Moon.
