"13 is a story focused game"
And for that aspect alone, FF13 failed at being a story focused game then. But let's ride with your logic for a second here, the previous FFs were not as story focused as FF13, by your logic, correct?
If so, the previous FFs had better story, more engaging characters, and something that many people can escape into. All this, despite the previous FFs not being story focused, by your logic.
So yeah the...
Uh huh.... and you'd assume everyone lives in a bangalow too right? You'd also assume everyone does not need to be considerate and everyone has pockets as deep as Bill Gates right?
Good for you that your TB X51 sounded better though...
Hi.
Put on a pair of stereo headphones, disable all the nonsense DSPs and EQ from your soundcard, and then listen to this - http://www.youtube.com/watc...
If, after this you say virtual surround sound is just as useless, then yes for you; HRTF is indeed useless. If not, then stop spewing bs. :)
Oh and yeah, gaming headsets are indeed stupid for how much they cost. That ...
Exactly.
Awards are nice to be awarded to those who put so much effort into creating a game, it's not an easy task. But awards lose their credibility when they aren't given out properly.
Tearaway was on a whole other level when it comes to innovation, people who doesn't think so hasn't played it. Plain and simple.
It's not just the length, it's the fact that the game costs $40. We all know Konami is going to sell TPP for $60, so that amounts to what?
$100 for the entire MGS5 experience? Keep in mind, this is one entire game. Neither GZ or TPP is DLC, it's one entire game.
Compare open worlds then? GTA5 costs $60 and I'm pretty sure no matter what KJP does, TPP is not going to be on the scale of GTA5. Skyrim, yes I know... it's $60.
...
Most innovative game is TLOU... really? Like, seriously? Teraway is by far and way more innovative than TLOU.
People need to open their eyes and not just look at AAA games.
...Yet, they cannot hire 10 translators to translate the game. Yeah. ~_~
Quoting this for the future, in the event Isolation turns out to be another Colonial Marines.
1) We're in 2014 and we're supposed to go back to having our controllers wired? Then at the same time gamers wants to bask in future technologies?
2) 2 pads makes sense yes and that's a solution. But when you look at the DS4 costing $60, having poor battery life and mediocre rubber on the analog sticks, that's a stupid investment. The DS3 I bought as an extra in 2008 still works fine today with no cosmetic damaages. Don't see that happening with the DS4 in...
I'm still playing PS1 games, never said goodbye to it. So I don't know why we should even be saying goodbye to the PS3... first world problems.
It's not just the ending. But the amount of hype leading up to ME3's release, about how epic the journey would be to the final battle... just felt empty.
Going from one place to the other just to round up your crew (again) seems so... trivial.
Lol Nintendo owns Monolith Soft, but the Xenogears IP belongs to Square Enix.
Why else did we get Xenosaga and now Xenoblade then?
Other devs in Square Enix can handle the remake.
Jeez, mr smartie pants.
Xenogears remake and freaking finally completing the entire planned saga in the first place.
I'm dreaming of course.
They said the same thing for Mass Effect 3... the result was a meh experience.
Better to keep your hopes down than up guys.
KZ: SF "sucked" because you are reading reviews. Have YOU played it?
Smartass trying to be a smartass is funny sometimes.
Hmmm... if you guys go to the PSN Store on the PC instead, there is no way to redeem the PS4 titles either. So...
Additionally, the terms state users cannot re-sell "disc-based software or software downloads" unless authorized by Sony.
Keyword here: "unless authorized by Sony"
The official PS4 Ultimate FAQ which is hosted on a Sony owned website, written by a Sony employee, and proof-read by a higher up states that you can indeed sell your games.
Can PS4 customers trade and sell games?
Yes, they can trade and sell disc-based g...
Before everyone gets very jumpy and happy over this, you guys have to understand that the current limit of the PS4's accepted HDD space is 1.5TB.
This will increase in the future, but for now, 1.5TB is the limit.
Also, in Wired's tear down of the PS4... the HDD tray is shown to have extra space to accomodate up to 12.5mm thick 2.5" HDDs.
I care for the fact that with no MP3 support means no support for custom soundtrack through MY OWN music.
I understand that there will be support for custom soundtrack through Music Unlimited, but looking at the list of songs available on it.... ugh. No offense to Top 40 listeners, but I'm not one of them.
That's the reason I'm miff'd about the fact the PS4 doesn't support MP3 playback. The PS3 sorta had it though support was up to devs, w...
Oh Lord, please no. FFXII was just barely better than FFXIII.
