"Cinematic sequences are always touch and go, some (in my humble and uneducated opinion) go overboard with too many fancy pre rendered graphics making it so distantly removed (or improved) from the gameplay that it feels disconnected. Others have them occurring far too frequently, some use the in-game engine and camera for a more immersive and coherent experience, but might look like a steaming pile of the proverbial in comparison to its competition. Uncharted 2 strikes a balance in that...
cheers for the tip, I'd missed a few of those
the site is actually asking if anyone else has had this issue, perhaps the title should have a "?" at the end.
Geez you get around :p
yeah I read the fine print when I originally signed up. A bit disappointing. Played the BETA @ Jimbo's today. HOLY CR#P, its awesome. Now I want one even more than before. Hopefully there'll be an 'open beta' in the last week, hopefully
I heard that in BM's latest podcast, you just know seconds after saying it he was doing a imaginary FACEPALM.
game does look awesome, I will buy :)
Never played the first one though (shhh, don't tell anyone)
That site never gives scores, therefore readers are more likely to read the review I suppose,
JT's such a joke, and the fact that some random nobody NZ politician refers to JT's corespondence as his argument, shows he's just as ignorant.
What concerns me is similarly ignorant people will believe everything they say.
How do idiots like this get into posistions of influence? Crazy
PSN version cannot be played offline. You must be connected to PSN to start game.
indeed it does. I can't wait ot get my hands on it.
Shouldn't be too far away now.
thats what I thought as well. We'll soon find out :)
you have a debug console?
Possibly adds functionability for unreleased PSN titles or something like that. Just small fixe's for debug consoles.
IMO I would read much into it....
@ everyone reporting story as fake and not confirmed.
Its tagged rumor.
Isn't that the point behind rumors, they're not comfirmed and are all possibly fake.
How can such a important part of a game be scrapped at the last minute. (maybe not scrapped last minute but announced last minute)
I wont be picking this title up for this reason alone.
I got no problem shooting guys with no shoes :)
I don't think the article insults ps3 owners, easy to read tone into a article thats not there. They like ps3, (I frequent the site alot)
I had thought that myself
The PS2 is portrayed as the family console here in NZ, all the average family joe here wants (what his kids tell him to get) is singstar and buzz, thats where it shines IMO.
and its cheap, under $200 nz dollars (approx 100-120 US$), its a really tempting offer for most parents.
SOCOM sales must really be hurting with the PSN down... I wonder if Zipper will get any compensation?
