Mass Effect 2 is still perfection to me. If anything makes me feel the same as ME2 did again in my lifetime, I'll be pleasantly shocked.
Doesn't help that they remind me more of the Furry Woodland Creatures from South Park this time around. Creepy little twits sound like they're in a cult.
It falls in that "I don't regret playing it, it was fine" category. It got the basics right at least. Just nothing all that memorable.
No matter how great it can be now, VR just still isn't ready to be mainstream - cost is too high and there are still too many wires. Throw in motion sickness for some and it needs more time. It's more like Sega CD right now.
DD2 is also over two months closer to release.
I can't believe footprint tech hasn't advanced in a decade.
IMO shows how great of a job they did with Crisis Core to bring it up to the Remake's standards/style.
Dead Space over Mario All-Stars, esp since All-Stars was just a graphical upgrade. Otherwise.....can't quibble much with that list.
Too.
Oh, right, that explains it completely. "Because I thought it'd be cool." Yeah, I think it'd be cool to be able to smoke while carrying stuff, but how do I get a set of magic secondary hands?
Sega discs are notorious for disc rot - especially Saturn games.
These guys are like the private equity firms that buy companies just to close them down and make a profit for themselves, while everyone else involved suffers - ie what happened to Toys R Us. F 'em.
I don't buy a remake taking 4x the time most games take from scratch. Just say you don't wanna risk screwing it up.
For once, I can't really argue much with the list. I mean, I may have some differing opinions, but I can't say any of these are bad choices. Maybe Shaq-Fu is a bit too close to #1.
I'm just so sick of hearing about this franchise already, and it's only been two games.
It was really fun and beautiful, just too short. Felt like once things realllly got going, it ended.
That'd be way too tough to do - but a 2D Zelda Maker would be amazing.
Both of those Infamous games are definitely fun, just too short.
React by doing a better campaign and game next time.
Nitpicks aside, just kill Chadley. 95% of his dialogue was completely unnecessary. There was one moment where it seemed like he might get some depth that would make it all somewhat worth it, but then it was dropped. Maybe that'll be resolved in Part 3.
