I own all three current gen consoles, and I like my PS3 the best because of titles such as Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Journey, Last of Us. All new IPs and pretty fun to play. I like my 360 because I get to play online with my friends. I have only played on my Wii a handful of times.
I like Nintendo and the N64 was my first console. I'm just not interested in the 4th Super Smash Bros, the 11th Mario Party, or the 20th Zelda title.
Nintendo should stop try...
15 year olds shouldn't allowed to write reviews -_-
CS has already killed CoD. CoD requires iterations each year to keep its players from getting bored, while CS has only 3 iterations in the past 12 years.
counter-strike will fail on consoles. The reason, simply, is because the shooting mechanics require much more precision and control, while not compromising speed, that a controller can't achieve.
What a really really pointless article. The space shuttle's computer would only need to do mathematical calculations, a feat that any computer can do. It doesn't need to run the physics of millions of particles in a video game.
I would rather prefer uncharted does not try to compete with Call of Duty. It doesn't need to, and there should not be a comparison (two really different games).
The graphical wall will be hit when we can achieve BF3 caliber graphics on a GTA4 scale.
Yea, shovelware is definitely a positive impact on gaming. Also, the Wii's hardware doesn't just limit graphics. It also limits the size of the levels created, and anything else that requires fast processing. That's why you don't see GTA games on the Wii, because it's impossible for the Wii to process the streaming. What you end up is highly linear games, or very small open world games because that's the limit of the Wii's hardware.
You are assuming that your mentor will be some "pro." In reality, most mentors will be an average gamer who has no real interest in mentoring other than reaping the rewards from the system. Friends will have more patience and are more willing to show you all the intricacies of the game.
I think Valve is more interested in expanding Steam with some small sacrifice of revenue from Portal 2. Think about it. They WANT PC users who own a PS3 to buy the PS3 port. Any PC user with a brain will then sell the PS3 port at a slightly lesser price to minimize the net cost of buying the game. This lower resale price will attract more buyers, especially those on the fence. What results, ideally, is double the amount of Portal 2 PS3 players, which means double the amount of Steam users who...
This a great idea, but I can't help but feel that only players with no friends will need this feature. When you have friends around playing with you, you learn the game pretty fast and improve as well.
I meant that you can download your steam copies on your PSN free. Don't act all smart.
It's a trailer, genius, not a new BF3 "episode."
This news is a lot bigger than its given credit for.
CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY. Who has seen that happen before?
CLOUD SAVING ACROSS PLATFORMS
and to top it off,
A FREE COPY OF THE SAME GAME.
Soon we'll see most valve games being available to download for free at the PSN store if your PSN account is linked to steam
Does anyone know if you will be entitled to a free PS3 copy if you preordered the PC version on steam?
I don't see how anonymous is a serious threat to most companies. Wooo they are making our websites laggier, big freakin whoop.
BF series will still be there in the long run. CoD will end up like MoH eventually.
She was on the tester season 1, and she performed abysmally. Ever person in the show hated her and she was pretty retarded.
For those who think the change of controls ruined the game:
You are then admitting that the KZ series had fundamentally average gameplay mechanics if something trivial like the weighty aiming (basically a sensitivity/turn acceleration tweak) issues can ruin it completely
How is this possible? Chivalry is based on the source engine which is almost 15 years old. My PC 8 years ago could play it 1080P @ 60fps and the specs weren't nearly as good as even an XB1.
