I'm gonna give my two cents on this.
This game is single player, right?
Which means I want to play it by myself, and not having to be observed by almost everyone while doing so, so if I decide to use a mod for my own personal use I will get banned.
So yeah, this particular DRM is beyond bad, it literally takes away my privacy and my ability to play the game in the way I want to.
