I can't imagine OSX is built with gaming in mind, probably why a game running through OSX demands a higher spec machine than the same game running through windows.
Either way, the specs for running the game on OSX are still pretty low, machines that are 3/4 years old shouldn't have a problem.
who ever said apple macs were gaming machines? apart from the desperate fanboys of course :) but nobody ever listens to what they say anyway.
In my honest opinion my dogs crap is the tastiest meal in the world. Just my opinion!
My point being just because it's your opinion doesn't mean your not full of crap and your opinion is wrong.
I'm not saying though that their might be a reasonable arguement to say dead red is the best game ever, but it's not even released yet, will it even be the best game released in May? Super Mario Galaxy 2 anyone? Very different game but should also be ...
True! However I bought my PS3 years ago with the knowledge of installing linux feature, i use it as a console and have admittedly never bothered to install Linux, but have thought about doing so some day, now that feature which was advertised and I paid for as part of the overall package is taken away from me, this seems very unfair, although I'm not butt hurt enough to attempt to sue Sony over it, I do feel like Sony is punishing all it's innocent and legit gamers who have an intere...
I was part of the competition on 99 designs for the redesign of this site, and this website is nothing like the winning design! I'm not overly convinced by this design yet, but it is a lot better than the last design. Maybe it'll grow on me in time.
Runs very smoothly though.
fair comment,
but I would have to say, making a game available on PSN at release really should happen!
It's a hell of a lot more work to produce hundreds of thousands of UMDs + packaging + shipping to stores around the world ready for release day than it is to make a digital format available online at release!
I love how your comment sums up N4G
"would be nice for mac users who want to game" That's a definite yes, you cannot disagree with that!
" i doubt all games would come to mac but if valves game can go to mac that's cool." Again you are more than likely right, if this were actually to happen, not all the games on steam would come to mac, but if valve produce steam for mac they most likely would support OS X with at least some of there games.

I think MW2 best chance will come from multiplayer, but I agree with you.
I was really looking forward to Heavy Rain, but after playing the demo I'm a little unimpressed, don't get me wrong, I can see it's a quality game with a lot of love gone into development, but I think it's just not for me.
All this talk of a mature game, the story, settings & character may be mature, but to me the gameplay feels more casual. I didn't really have to think much for the plot to advance, I felt the story was driving the game rather than my actions, making me feel...
broken screen and battery, yum!
because its a phone, not a computer :P
While I wouldn't call the iPhone version the best version, it is definietly comparable graphically to the psp version, and controls perfectly fine too, my only pet hate with it is that your fingers are over the screen. But priced at only £6 on iPhone it's no competition, for my money the psp or ds version is not worth £10/£20 more.
Chinatown Wars is a damn good game, better than GTA4 in most peoples opinions, not exactly a bad port to get!
I wouldn't argue that the app store is brimming with creativity, as there is a lot of trash on there, but there definitely are a few little gems!

Not every Mac owner buys a mac because they want to feel "separate and special" some of us buy a mac because they work in an industry dominated by Apple. I just don't like being pigeon holed as a poser due to owning apple hardware... although I know that stereotype does exist, it just doesn't apply to everyone.
Apart from that, I agree with everything else you say.. although I haven't tried windows 7 out for myself, I only hear good things (other th...

I agree, The video was terrible! Not really read a lot from this site yet, but I am put off by the name E4G (wonder where they got that idea from?) and quality of video, it all stinks of lack of professionalism, hopefully there reviews & opinions make up for this.

yes credit to epic for taking survivor mode and making it even better in horde, but this isn't innovation in my opinion, it's just evolution, more of a natural progression rather than something truely innovative.
most things these days have been done though, so it's very very few games are ever really innovators, in my opinion, innovative games (not of this generation) are games like Alone in the dark, first real survival horror, Grand Theft Auto, ori...
They never said they used Mac OS X, they just said they used a G4, it could of had a different OS installed on it? maybe a beta version of the 360 OS?
Either way I would imagine the G4 was used because of similarities with the 360 hardware, not due to OS X.
Still amusing, I remember when MS were showing off the 360 at an E3 or something, and someone snuck behind the scenes to grab a photo of the 360, but instead all they found was an Power Mac! Ouch, that's got to ...
The main conclusion to the article clearly states that the sub HD version benefits from extra processing being used to improve textures & motion blur for smoother animation. creating an overall better looking game than the 'HD' which has to loose these extra features.
This I find very interesting and have thought for a long time, it's not about how many pixels you can throw together on one screen, it's more about the art direction!
I'm not sure making the game easier to score will please most PES fans, where the fun comes from the sense of achievement of scoring a truly class well build up goal against a tough opposition.
I do agree though! the wii PES controls are nothing short of brilliant, what I like best is being able to not only control your own player with an analogue stick, but using the IR pointer at the same time, you can select a player off the ball and send him on a run in the direction you wan...
I can't believe people have got so wound up by this video, I just laughed when I saw this, and thought it was a bit of light relief after all the doom and gloom articles that have been flying through here about PSN
