The game does have DLC, its all that extra side stuff you do that other companies would have locked behind DLC paywall.
Thats what I love about this game, it is a complete game from start to finish just like the good ol days of retro gaming.
The game has an additional 15-20 hrs of content after you finish the main game.
If you have a Samsung tv from 2016 onwards, you already have steam link app ready to download for free. just throwing it out there for people with the right tvs before they waste money.
Issue is more financial . If you were running Sony would you find it fair that an in game item bought on Xbox should be playable on PS4. Sony would lose money. In fact Sony allows you to play the game with out ps plus subscription, Microsoft requires you to have an Xbox live subscription .

Fortnite on PS4 does now require PS PLUS subscription, it’s completely free .
I'm pretty certain if Microsoft was on top they wouldn't allow cross play either.
I like buying my games and supporting the developers to continue to make future projects. But saying that, Also don't mind hacking my device to play emulators for games that are not re-released digitally.
The download option will be for ps4 games only. PS3 games will still be streamed.
