Silva makes a great point. The system is what it is, and if you want to play by their rules then things can go very well for you. Now whether those rules are "fair" is a different matter.
I'd never actually thought about the exchange rate. No wonder we don't get much on the Japanese front.
Maybe I'm a little biased, but I love our podcasts. It's even better with the current crew of four who have a great dynamic. Makes for good listening on the commute to work.
Love crossovers. This isn't Marvel vs Capcom or anything, but I love when devs put in nods to their favorite games or movies.
I'll have to see more gameplay to really get it down, but it's ambitious, I'll give em that.
I'll give the guy a break, but come on. The reality is that you know you're in the public eye. You just have to watch what you say.
Not personally a fan of Minecraft, but I think it's great that they're giving the 360 version proper support with eight player live, up to four split, and any combination.
I totally agree with that. My guess is that publicly helping would require admitting there's a problem, and I truly think in their minds it's not an issue with security, but rather phishing scams/keylogging viruses, etc -- like every other major hack.
Whether that's true, on the other hand...
Heh, it's been so long that I had totally forgotten it even had music. The only sound I can remember is that of DK/Diddy Kong knocking from inside a barrel to be set free.
It never ceases to amaze me what people can do when they think outside the box.
Raskulls is a totally underrated game. If more people had it I'd play it a lot more often. All my gaming friends are stingy, though, so I don't get much in the way of online XBLA.
Yeah, I guess so (on the gamerscore) -- but I've heard that plea from XBLIG devs many times before, and having it be only 35G helps to curb boosting.
It might be a preference thing, too. I only use mics when I play with friends. Even in team-based games I mute all team chats outside of my party. Then again I don't play anything more strategic than Halo--If I did I'd probably use it more.
I'll definitely give you that. But I suppose I could have argued anything's overdone. Sports games, sci-fi games, puzzle games. :P
It's not my kind of game, but it's always good to see such a big franchise branching out. It'll be interesting to see how well this translates to console players who don't really play CS on PC.
Absolutely. I HATE the Duke controller on the original Xbox, but I once I bought Logitech controllers for my PS2 and Xbox and realized they fit in my hand I was hooked. That's pretty much the same design as the 360's wireless controller--something that doesn't feel tiny and awkward.
I could write a whole 'nother editorial on how Google products bother me. For me it goes back to being trendy. Google+ is a great example. It's trendy and 'cool' to use it, but it's just Google's Facebook, and I don't need yet another social network.
Totally agree with that. It's almost like it's a "it's cool to hate Microsoft" thing. It's annoying.
Irritating and disappointing. I totally understand that there might be a money issue, but dropping the ball on promises is never good. If Super MNC comes to XBLA there had better be some major unlocks and bonuses if the player has the original MNC.
How can you "big, important" and still be indie? Isn't that the very opposite of being indie?
