It is lacking in content and its a shame because it has some really stand out moments. It needs better mission structure and content that makes you feel like youre progressing towards something bigger. It has a great foundation to build upon, but it really should have had more interesting content because it deserves it.
I have to say though some of the reviews have been way to low scoring imo, i can understand a score of 7 but these 4s and 5s are way off the mark.
Yeah i might post a few ideas up on their site, i think theyll add some more in depth content down the line though. Its still a really fun game though imo and i dont see where people can honestly give out a 5 review for this game, its easily an 8 right now for me.
It has some great mechanics also, sailing a ship has never felt so good in game. It does seriously need major improvements in the content area, it lacks that sense of exploration that you get from some other great open world games.
Sea Of Thieves has amazing moments but it honestly suffers from a lack of content and variety. It needs cave systems like in Skyrim and missions that have a lot more depth and sense of exploration. Its such a shame because it has some awesome mechanics and the graphics are really nice, hopefully they can build upon a decent foundation and give the game the content it deserves.
Red Dead 2 is out this year, we all know that game will pretty much smash everything thats released.
Well Sony should do it for the gamers, it also makes sense to compete with yourself and make sure you stay on top.
What a stupid statement you just made there, Both Sony and MS have deals with third party developers. So i take it you think the Ps4 pro was a great idea along with Sony VR which in reality was a con job, anyone with half a brain should of realised that Sony used the positive momentum they had to sell people a trash upgrade and they even managed to sell an over priced VR experience that just dont cut it.
Most people are complaining about the lack of content tbh, its a beta though what do people expect. They have to hold a lot of stuff back because itd ruin the game if they released to much in the beta. Many Sony fanboys go out of their way to derail anything MS related, they have a very toxic community and you just have to ignore them especially on this site.
Well said, couldnt agree more.
The main reason that digital prices are high on consoles is due to stores no doubt demanding that. At the end of the day console owners get screwed over on game prices, you dont see the PC gamers moaning about buying digital because they get awesome deals. Supermarkets sell physical games cheaper than game stores which says it all really, dont get me started on the trade in value they give you for games, its a joke.
It all depends what games you like to be honest, both consoles have a decent line up of games this year imo. ill be enjoying Sea Of Thieves, Ori 2, crackdown 3, Forza horizon 4, State of decay 2, Metro Exodus and Red Dead 2. Theres just a mass of great games for 2018 so pretty much everyone should be happy with whats due out.
I bought this last night and its an amazing game. Very fluid and refined controls with some very clever platforming, the music is also top notch. Its quite tough in parts, but very rewarding getting through the different stages. Seems like it will have a ton of replay value too.
No need to be salty because Sony sold you a console that barely does anything over the base system. No doubt you have no need to worry though as you've got a £3000 PC like every other Sony fanboy.
Yeah it makes sense to hit bigger audiences, i dont see the problem with PC gamers getting access to Xbox titles. Services like this will drive down the price of games and people that cant afford to drop £50 on multiple games get a chance to play big titles at launch. Its very pro consumer, gamers should be happy about this.
You have to understand that not everybody can afford to buy multiple games outright and the trade in value for games is trash, services like this at least give people options and offer great value for money. They are not taking away the ability to own the game so there really is no problem. These are the sorts of services that are actually better for gamers, bigger audience will now get to play these games at launch which is great news for everyone.
I mainly game on Xbox but I like the fact that there is a choice when it comes to consoles, it keeps it competitive and makes things progress a lot faster. Hopefully Sony, MS and Nintendo are in the business for many more years, I do think that gaming will drastically change over the next 5-10 years though, cloud based gaming will be a major factor imo more so than anything else.
I think most people want Gears to be familiar, there's plenty of other developers that stick to the formula and I don't see them games getting jumped on. It's like you can't win either way with this type of reviewer, I just don't see it as a constructive way to review a game, it makes them extremely biased as I can pretty much guarantee they don't judge games they favour with the same mindset.
It's hilarious the fact that you single out white people, explain why it wouldn't make every other race see it as an eye opener, or are you one of those guys that believes only white people can be racist.
I think it looks fine as well, most people dont want something that stands out too much nowadays, as long as it does the job keeping everything cool and quiet thats way more important imo.
